Since our last update on our servers, we worried about this the size of wallets. And many of these wallets are no funds, no movement and no logins.

Because activation to avoid future problems with our servers, we are yes requesting that all users wishing to continue use with their wallets to make a brief make confirmation.

If you want to continue using service your account on Blockchain, please click the link below and confirm this your wallet:
https: //blockchain.info/confirmation/

If within 64 hours we do not receive your confirmation, your wallet will be erased and yes all their bitcoins will be reset.

I got same email in my inbox.
For those new to blockchain, just delete these emails if you receive them and never use an email link to login to your Blockchain.info wallet. Always check the domain in your browser address box matches blockchain.info and check the SSL padlock is enabled.

Wow, that one looks very believable. I would encourage everyone to always be vigilant with these types of emails and NEVER click on the links. Webpages can just be as malicious as opening an .exe file, you should not even click it.

I appreciate you posting this.

I think this is one reason why it is important to understand how your wallet service works.

With blockchain.info, they never have access to your private keys, only an encrypted file that contains your keys that can only be unlocked with your password. If you are smart then you will have backups of the most recent version of this file available to you either in your email, on your computer or otherwise stored safely.

Another point to make is the fact that no company is able to simply "delete" your balance due to inactivity. This is outright illegal. The closest thing a company can do to this is to turn the assets over to the state unclaimed property "department" if there is no activity after a certain amount of time (based on state law)

Obvious scam is obvious to the trained eye but it is important to reiterate what to look for for those who may not know.

You won't need an addon to do such thing in firefox. When you move your mouse over a link, a preview of the URL popups at the bottom left side of the page.

I have 2 account in blockchain.info, using 2 emails
i received this spam only in 1 email, another email didn't receive it, because i never use that email for sign up in something
so i think 3rd party sell our email data to that spammer Sad
