Thanks for your reply... I see the original thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=791197.msg8913614#msg8913614 Were mining details posted in the original post? From the first reply 2 minutes after the original post, it seems that the details were already removed?

i remove all details so google dont use that one, i hate threads where you have to jump from thread to thread

Your welcome. Since your online right now. Do you have any plans for this coin besides "being the largest alt coin for marijuana dispensaries". What makes your coin any different than the others besides being on x13?

we dont want to hype the coin giving crazy promises, we are going to work and give out features without giving ppl chance to hype a news for a week and on release a big dump this one is going to go up on new releases not down

I have to take your word, since I did not see the original thread yesterday...but if you look at that thread, there is no getmininginfo...did that poster delete it?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=791197.msg8913614#msg8913614

EDIT you mean this current thread? I see the getinfo in this thread..and it matches with the block explorer. Its a bit weird since 8 blocks were mined within a minute, then the next one was 30 mins later.

EDIT2..It's almost like the person mining stopped after mining the first 9 blocks then waited for this ann to be posted to continue mining.

Just trying to figure out why there were blocks mined before the posting of this thread.

EDIT... Can anyone see the first block using the block explorer? If so what time was the first block? I get a server error message when I try to view it.

There wasn't any substantial instamine. Let's be realistic, 9 blocks just does not matter at all, and the first blocks on a coin will always be mined in less than a few seconds. Even if the developer is using even a single GPU to start the blockchain, that's what you'll see. That's not an "instamine" by any stretch of the imagination though.

For reference, I saw the announcement thread and had the wallet compiled by block 93, with the first block found on our pool at block 110. (All blocks for every coin are viewable on my pool, if you're curious to see the early blocks we mined. Just check https://www.ipominer.com/stats?curr=stv and click "All Blocks Found - STV" at the bottom of the block list, then go to the last page.)

    "confirmations" : 1832
}

And, I've confirmed the proof of work reward schedule in the code does match the announcement post:

// miner's coin base reward
int64_t GetProofOfWorkReward(int64_t nFees)
{
    int64_t nSubsidy = 972 * COIN;
    if(pindexBest->nHeight <= 7200)
    {
                nSubsidy = 972 * COIN;
    }

    if (fDebug && GetBoolArg("-printcreation"))
        printf("GetProofOfWorkReward() : create=%s nSubsidy=%"PRId64"\n", FormatMoney(nSubsidy).c_str(), nSubsidy);

    return nSubsidy + nFees;
}

(Which, if you don't read code, says that all blocks under block 7200 have the same reward of 927 STV.)

Thanks...I see that now and seems block 1 was mined just before block 2 as expected.

It's a great looking wallet, nice job on that and good luck with your project.

Thanks..I saw the info in the wallet and I can read the code. I agree that 9 blocks isn't substantial...it is weird tho and I'm just trying to understand what happened here and why there were blocks mined before this ann was posted.

Well...I dont have a full explanation at all...seems like the first thread was posted at 3:19 PM forum time and removed by 3:21 PM...then first 9 blocks mined starting at 4:09 PM forum time and then this ann post at 4:40 PM forum time. Now I agree that 9 blocks isnt a lot, but I still dont understand what took place here.

BTW I did see the post just now that was deleted (It was a post by demoniality showing multiple deleted messages).
