So, now my opinion regarding to the staking function:

I would say that fixing it to a real 10% staking would be better than just to leave it like it is now. People should be rewarded to leave the client running.

And if we only have about 15 Billion totally exchanged you could maybe make a 25 percent pos for ~2 months (to "mine" additionally coins so that we get at least 20 Billion) and then switch to 10 percent stake.

If the sale price wasn't so low I would say it was fine but MRC beforehand didn't have that high of a price and it appears that neither will MRC2. Such a small percent for such a low value coin doesn't make much sense.

Just keep the wallet.dat safe and download the old wallets from microcoin homepage.

From microCoin homepage:

it is very slow but have patience, once you load the wallet just send them to alcurex.

I would say send them in the genesis account, and post that burn tx info on the OP for people to see.

Also, good work with the betting game. We could sell that as "probability market" XD
Expanding it to the rest of the traded coins will be good for business.

I can see a lot of work is being put in, and i would like to congratulate the dev team for that,
but i feel i also need to point out, like others have so far, that alcurEX needs some large volume coins added.

I know that giving new coins a place to enter the market is very crucial, but there will never be
a shortage of alts.

Coins that have been in the market for 6-12 months and are producing volume need to be there, making volume on BTC and LTC markets easier to move up. We can't really expect the volume to grow only on mrc or cryptopennies.

Taking the same "format" as Counterparty and Dogeparty (1CounterpartyXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXUWLpVr or  DDogepartyxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxw1dfzr ) and using this python script :

So as you can see it is a valid burn address and we can all agree it is impossible to find the private key for this address.
You can burn few Microcoins by sending to this address and verify the transaction to be sure it works before sending the 12 bilions to be destroyed.

I think we need to agree on the method of destruction, you can generate another address if you don't like this one, it is very important to restore the trust in this coin and that we can all verify the coins were effectively destroyed.
