Received my shiny new 7970's from scifimike yesterday. Packed well, arrived quick & just as described. Thanks mike.

UPS gave us the shaft with an insane, over-the-top, 22% extortion fee.
Word of advice to everyone: DO NOT EVER ship via UPS to Canada internationally.

Better yet, do every decent human being a favor and don't use UPS [aka United Pirate Shipsters]  for anything ever again.

I've never had an issue with USPS, shipped many packages, never had to pay much, usually nothing.

Final payment sent to scifimike.

Bump.  Decided to keep my last 7970.  Turned out it does well at undervolting.  Dropped the voltage to 1.0v and increased the core clock from 925 to 1000.  Was able to lower my power consumption by 100W and also reduce my fan speed as well.   Grin

I also have a Noctua NH-D14 and a PowerColor 5970 LCS that I'm willing to sell if someone is interested.

Yup.  Though both boards are in the same condition (like new).
