Hi,
Is this the correct thread for asking about issues with the Android version of Breadwallet? There was another thread announcing the arrival of Breadwallet on the Play Store... but the OP doesn't seem to be reading it, so I'm not sure if it is actively monitored.
I've run into a couple of issues and was just wanting to know where I should send my concerns?

This is definitely the correct thread, as it is the main thread for the app... The dev comes here regularly, but lately he's been asking to send bug reports or similar to support [at] breadwallet.com I'd post here and send an email if I was you. |

This is definitely the correct thread, as it is the main thread for the app... The dev comes here regularly, but lately he's been asking to send bug reports or similar to support [at] breadwallet.com I'd post here and send an email if I was you. is there any plans to allow breadwallet to connect to a trusted peer? for example can i get it to only connect to my node at home?

At the moment you have to build the app yourself to do that, but we may enable it through a bread: url request (with user authorization to avoid an attacker setting it) |

We use the default bip32 path (m/0H/0 and m/0H/1) Also we want to help the bitcoin community move to bits from full btc, to help grow bitcoin adoption. Large parts of the world population can't deal with arbitrary precision decimal numbers, and the sooner we switch the less painful the switch will be. |

But I guess that's only me 1,000,000 bits = 1 btc You're definitely not the only one, we get a lot of complaints about this. People hate changing from what they are already used to. This is why it's so important to make the switch now while bitcoin is still small. The more it grows the more painful it will be to switch the standard denomination. |

Yes, you are right. It won't bother me much if we eventually switch to bits, although I still think BTC is way easier. Maybe simply because when I started looking at Bitcoin there were no "bits" or "milibtc"... |

I know, that's the reason why the seed of breadwallet isn't compatible with other HD wallets. |

You currently display bits with selected local currency in parentheses: b1,000 ($0.61) Why not add "BTC" as a local currency? Then the above would be displayed as: b1,000 ( BTC0.001) |

I think we should move to Bits asap, it wont take long until we all get used to it, there simply isnt enough bitcoins for large scale adoption and the average joe wont want to use anything after the decimal 0.001......  i have seen it myself, after convincing my brother to buy some bitcoin i then tried to persuade him to buy small amounts to even out the volitility, but he just couldnt think of buying 0.1 per month he had to have a bitcoin which at the time cost £600, if he had listened he would have got the full bitcoin for much less..... but this is what we will be dealing with when the crowd arrives........ |

So i created an address at bitaddress and wanted to make sure the privkey would work before i sent any larger amounts of bitcoin to it so i scanned it with bread wallet but did not sweep funds. so my question is does that ios device or does the breadwallet app on the device store that somewhere or will it be forgotten about because i didn't sweep the funds ?
i no longer have the device thats why i am asking.

Breadwallet 31 at least on Android already has the ability to change from bits to bitcoin. Go to settings > local currency and at the top where the conversion rate for your chosen currency is listed just touch and swipe to the left. You can choose from three options: bitcoin, bits and milllibits. Problem solved. Thanks Breadwallet can someone confirm this is working on iPhone?
