hi.

can we make a list with all pools that do not need signup and where one can use his BTC-address as username without a password and just start mining?

As far as I know, only Eligius (regular pool) and P2Pool (not a regular pool) can do this.

- Eligius (SMPPS No Fee)
- P2Pool (Requires Software) (PPLNS Optional Fee)
    - (You can just point your miner at a P2Pool node like P2PMining.com instead of running the software)
- BitPenny (Requires Software) (PPS No Fee(?))
- Eclipse MC (PPS 5% Fee)
- 50BTC (PPS 3% Fee)

P2Pool is most likely your best bet, as you can change donation/fee to 0%. Although P2PMining.com (P2Pool Node) would be better if you have a lower hashrate, plus the fee is small AND they have merged mining. Sure Eligius has zero fee's too but ArsBitcoin is a fine example of the major flaw of SMPPS.

Hmm, didn't know eclipse did that. Nice. Are you sure it isn't limited only to the PPS pool?

Eclipse (EMC) allows this on all servers now.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.

There are a handful of public P2Pool nodes open for people to point their miners to. No need to run P2Pool yourself, and coins generated will generate directly into your wallet. Check with the exchanges first to see if they can take generated transactions for deposit directly, some can, some can't.

I don't believe P2Pmining.com sends generated coins directly, but sends normal transactions for payouts, so sending direct to an exchange shouldn't be a problem. They also merge-mine. I have not used P2Pmining.com myself, however, so I may be mistaken on a detail or two for them.

The public P2Pool Server List is here.

P2Pool operates as PPLNS, and has a BTC and an LTC network.

They send the merged coins directly after they go through 120 Confirms, and Bitcoins autopay out when your balance is at least .5, but you can manually pay out too.

I was meaning the difference between a received transaction, and a generated transaction.

P2Pool coins come in as generated, not received, and some exchanges aren't set up to recognize generated transactions.

Project X PPS does not require a password to mine "The Project X Cloud" or P2p Node (in testing) with your BTC address. However, it's members only and a PM to me is all you need...
