I don't care if he did "assualt" a cop or if his hands were up or how many convenience stores he robbed... once the individual is not actively attacking you, you have NO LEGAL GROUNDS for use of lethal force. Consider it in the context of a civilian. Would a legal gun owner be able to shoot a fleeing perpetrator who assaulted him and not end up in jail? ... No he would end up in a cage regardless of what the suspect did. Police have no additional rights above any other citizen regardless of how much they think they do.
This is true however there is evidence to suggest that Brown was still actively attacking the police officer when he was shot. He may have been in-between punches however there is evidence that he was shot at very close range and that he may have been reaching for the officer's gun bullshit, there were about 100 witnesses.

This. No matter how many times you call him a thug or a gangbanger, it still doesn't mean the cop had the right to execute a man just because he was pissed off. Mike Brown was 20 feet away from the officer when he was murdered by the pig. The theory that he was charging him is bullshit, it makes no sense. It is a lie perpetrated by the police. The poor little pissed off pig decided he was pissed enough that it warranted an execution, period. And police state America is gonna back him up because it is the status quo. If the cops want to kill you, they will, and then they will lie to make it seem justifiable. But it seems most people are perfectly okay with this. How pathetic. Only guy who gets it

One Hundred? Can you name 5? or 10? No. Blood on the officers clothes, and INside his car from Mike Brown. What was Mike Brown doing IN the cops window? Little Black girl witness said that the large black man (who was killed and later IDed as Mike Brown) went up and started the scuffle with the cop through the cops window. Later blood was found inside the cop's car. I do not like cops, but this shows M.B. attacked a cop and was killed for it. Evidence supports that. There is not 100 witnesses. Calm down and stop saying things that are massively untrue.

(Because he was never shot in the back) You continue to impress me with you ignorance.

"The district attorney’s office did not find the officer’s story credible and charged him with felony involuntary manslaughter and careless discharge of a firearm causing death."
His first trial was a mistrial. His second trial was a mistrial. The fucking cop got away with it.
What are you bitches going to do about Officer Joseph Weekley? Not a god damn thing because you're just a bunch of racist or stupid internet trolls!
Little girl was innocent. Michael Brown was not innocent.
Step up or shut the fuck up.
You're an idiot. Just because a different cop got away with killing someone else doesn't mean we shouldn't be protesting over Mike Brown. The people in that town should have protested like they did in Ferguson over the little girl's death. But they didn't. Probably because they don't have the means, or the manpower, or whatever. In ferguson, it's different. The little girl is a GOOD case for cop abuse about a cop killing someone illegally. Mike Brown is a BAD case for cop abuse because the cop killed MB in self defense. You failed to read the news.

The anger over the police shooting in Ferguson is totally justified.
Everyday cops kill innocent people for the most retarded of reasons in America and no one is ever held responsible for anything.
Multiple eyewitnesses said Mike Brown had his hands up and he said "Don't shoot" right before they killed him. That is murder.
Also, another thing they haven't mentioned in the media. A big reason new riots have started up in Ferguson lately is because someone torched the Mike Brown memorial that was in the street.
Yep that's right, in the middle of the night someone poured gas on the mike brown memorial and torched it.
Like that's not gonna piss some people off.
Mike Browns co-robbery friend was clearly the most coached lying witness I have ever heard speak. A little black girl looking out her window did CONFIRM that the big man that was killed and later identified as Mike Brown WAS fighting the cop THROUGH the cops window. There is NO way that the cop PULLED that big ass 300 pound Mike Brown IN his window to start a fight. Why has nobody asked "Where is the evidence of a bullet hole INSIDE the cops car, OR ~not~ in the cops car?" If the cop car has a bullet hole inside, that proves the cop story and disproves Mike Brown's co-robber friend story. ----- I think the police department fucked up by not explaining why forensics left him in the street for 4 hours, and fucked up by not revealing the bullet hole (or lack of) in the cop car. Forensics recently leaked by the Feds show shots were, in fact, fired inside the police cruiser where Michael Brown first attempted to murder the officer. Also, 6 African American eye witnesses have come forward and admit Michael Brown was in the midst of bull rushing the officer when the fatal shots were fired. As a longtime resident of Ferguson (and lifelong resident of St. Louis), I am not looking forward to the (almost certain) rioting and looting that will commence as soon as the Grand Jury, in Clayton, votes to not file charges against the officer.

I plan on keeping my baby home from Pre-school for a few days, at a minimum, and staying inside no matter what I hear. Being self-employed (insurance sales), I have no problems working from home. I do worry about my wife being a very head-strong individual that I may be unable to convince to stay home from work.

I don't think anyone will be killed, though. The two really are not comparable.

Ferguson PD Caught Lying Again – Michael Brown’s Autopsy Condemns Officer Wilson (VIDEO) http://www.addictinginfo.org/2014/10/26/ferguson-lies-again/Ferguson PD Caught Lying Again – Michael Brown’s Autopsy Condemns Officer Wilson (VIDEO) Author: Nathaniel Downes October 26, 2014 12:15 am If you listened to the media reports this past week, it would appear that evidence had come forward to exonerate Officer Darren Wilson in the death of teen Michael Brown in August. It began when the St. Louis Dispatch ran an article titled “Official autopsy shows Michael Brown had close-range wound to his hand, marijuana in system” and quickly propagated throughout the net. If you read it, or the articles based on it, the impression was that the coroner who handled the autopsy had found that Michael Brown had attempted to grab Officer Wilson’s gun, and in so doing the officer was justified in the use of force which resulted in Michael’s death. They even included quotes from a forensics expert, Dr, Judy Melinek, which appeared to indicate familiarity with the case, and justification of the teens untimely death. Problem is, the autopsy report says nothing of the sort. Instead, the story as put down in the report damns Officer Wilson. In the report, the evidence fit with Officer Wilson having unholstered his weapon and discharge it, still in the car, against an unarmed teen. It did find that Michael Brown had been exposed to cannabis at least 24 hours earlier, based on his blood and urine toxicology. The amount found, 12 nanograms of delta-9-thc in his blood along with over 150 nanograms of 11-Nor-Delta-9-THC-cooh, at his BMI of over 34, denoted someone who had smoked two cannabis blunts the day before, and at least 4 more over the prior week. Not exactly someone who was a hard core drug offender. But it was above the point of impairment for driving. Thankfully, Michael Brown was walking that day. Now, many news sites ran with the claim that Michael Brown reached for officer Wilson’s gun. But the autopsy report tells a very different story. The only shot which indicated it was close to Officer Wilson, by having a powder burn or residue, was a burn on the inside of Michael Brown’s thumb, along with a bullet graze, which ran straight down the inside, across his thumbprint. Visualize just a moment, a bullet, in close proximity, so close that it could burn your thumb just below the knuckle, with the bullet heading straight out, away from the hand. A bullet coming out of a barrel likely touching the thumb at the knuckle joint, based on the description. A thumb attached to a hand which had to be underneath the gun, pushing it upward, for the bullet to travel along that path.

So many statist sheep, you murder apologists are the reason why the police are allowed to have military gear to use as "civilian control" If I bore what the police in the city do, I'd be arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit terrorism, then detained indefinitely thanks to Obama's indefinite detention act

Oh now he is an attempted murderer now too? The story about him grabbing a gun isn't enough, now he was a bloodthirsty murderer hopped up on the reefers? The narrative of the cop rolling up and grabbing this kid and trying to pull him into the window makes a lot more sense to me than him trying to grab the cops gun. I know kids get bold now days, but they had to know this would be a death sentence to try something like this. I don't buy that narrative. Perhaps he was resisting arrest, still no grounds for summary execution. You are so busy defending the police that you don't realize THEY are the ones putting you in danger by inciting much of the civilian population, much of them law abiding, with tremendous amounts of abuse.

It has become the norm for them to abuse their power and it gets worse every day. It is never going to stop until people like you pull your head out of your asses and stop being such apologists. If the police were doing such good work THEY WOULDN'T NEED DEFENDING FROM YOU.

But most of them merely exist to enforce the will of the prison industrial complex. How fortunate for us to have the boys in blue to shove a nightstick up your ass whenever they feel like it. Then plant drugs on you if you have the audacity to complain.
