Checkout one of the guides (Sushi's is at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=344970.0 or Dogie's at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355387) to get instructions how to reset the S1.
All the S1's that I used had a factory default IP of 192.168.1.99.  If you can't see it on your network, it might be safer to start with a pc-S1 isolated, direct connection without the router/network (see the guides how to do that).  There are also IP scanners (see the guides) that may assist you to find your S1 if it doesn't go to the factory default IP.

Good luck

I loaded the Fling app on my smart phone. This will show you everything on your router. You should see something named either  Paragon Technologies or Shenzhen SHX Technology which will be your  Antminer. Once you have the IP address just put that IP in your browser and use the password root. Go to the config page and put your pool information in and save & apply.

If you still need a help, please let us know or call +1-844-248-6246 and one of the techs will help you configure it via remote screen share.

S1 has 2 versions.  One could be the default IP of 191.168.1.99 and the other could be 192.168.2.99

You made a small typo there. That should be 192.168.1.99.

I have both bought and sold several units on eBay. Bought them as I was moving up from Stick Miners and sold them as I move to S3s and beyond.

try taking a router, setting the LAN IP to be 192.168.1.x subnet, plug the miner and plug a computer in as well.  Once you have done that look at 192.168.1.1 and sign into the router.  You should see an option for attached devices or something to list the devices connected.  make sure the miner is 192.168.1.99 and then navigate to that address.  From there if you sign in with the default password of root/root you can login.

If you need to reset an s1, there is a small button the control board, push and hold this while the unit is powered on.  wait 15 to 30 seconds.  power off.  power on again and the machine should be reset to stock clock speeds, and user root, password root, ip 192.168.1.99
