congrats on getting both POD 5 star and crypto certify also, glad i put this thread on my watch list...

im not a fan of the new modification to the logo though Sad

I think the old one with the "$" MUCH BETTER

I think if a bounty was offered for a logo contest it would be a great way to start building the community, gain awareness, AND get a new kickass logo

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Everything still good for ICO launch?  I'm feel a quiet storm is brewing..

Dev, so if only half of the coins sell, then the new maximum coinage would be 2mil after the burn, correct?..  can we keep this thread radio silent for the next 3 days?  8k sats might seem really cheap after the weekend.

The math is correct. To put it in perspective, at 320 btc one has a market cap of less then 200K USD.  With 4M total coins a 1 M market cap can be seen as a reasonable goal.  So those who are part of the project with us should so quite well. And this is what we want.

Please keep in mind we are looking for serious long term investors who are looking for a long term quality product.

When can we read a coup
Anonymity in coins is somewhat old hat. Ease of use and practicality for the common average users is the new leading tread. That said Anonymity is still important but not the only important aspect to consider. This is the first coin I seen really address these concepts.

This observation is spot on. Anon has become the new standard feature for coins, the flavor of the month for crypto - every coin seems to have some variety of it.

What we are focusing on with BitSwift instead is the user experience, because we believe this is really the critical 'last wall' for the spread of crypto. Just as Circle seeks to make buying, selling, and using BTC a no-brainer, we at BitSwift have developed a user experience and portal-based crypto ecosystem that is vastly more intuitive than the wallet-based crypto experience "everyone" is used to. Bitswift users will be easily able to access money transfer, markets, social networks, geo-functions and much more - all from within a sleek, intuitive interface that each user can customize according to how he or she uses the BitSwift system.

It's an exciting time for us. We are getting loads of good feedback from the community and our testing groups,  and we look forward to unveiling much more of the BitSwift ecosystem over the days to come.

When you say customizable, what does that mean? How would an average non tech user like me do that?

Thanks! Got a faucet and bounties in the works : -)  And with BitSwift's 'modular ecosystem' that will be rolled out over the next weeks, there are going to be plenty of BitSwift modules in seach of graphics ; - ) so i am gonna forward your idea to the gfx crew.

It feels good getting both those certifications, we are pretty stoked about that. Crypto Asian and Cryptocertify - wooohooo!

Just a few hours left until the ICO, so things are pretty hectic right now!

Quiet before the storm i am impressed with the crypto asian and certify fact ! WOW
Watching closely

Basically we feel the user should be able to roll their own crypto experience. Block chain technology allows us decentralized storage, value transfer, smart contracts and so much more. BitSwift will allow users to 'toggle'on and off the various block chain features in the GUI, so that each user ends up with the BitSwift user experience that fits them.

The graphics crew is working on a very cool visual representation of the Bitswift module system. I don't want to steal their thunder so I will let them post it when it's ready.

The Team at BitSwift realizes that the power of block chain is much more than transfer of currency.  We are building a modular platform to suit all business and individual needs.  The Block chain is nothing more than a de-centralized super computer communication platform.  Our goal is to allow anyone to utilize and harness the power of a  TRUSTED de-centralized block chain based network.

radio silence for ICO buying period lol

If the whitepaper is legit i could see it selling out in acouple days

ICO starts in 10mins... this will be interesting!

man think about that if only half the ico sells out then its ONLY 2 million coin supply, that would make this coin sooo undervalued

Why would you continiue to work on the coin after you received the funds?

It's like the Google founders sold their company at an early stage for let's say 100k $ and kept working hard for the next 15 years.

So are you that noble to keep developing after beeing paid?

These kind of ICOs make no sense and have to be avoided.

is the ICO still at the planned time?

We are running a little late.. getting a couple last details sorted out.

As requested by the dev, we will be delivering all ICO funds to the following addresses after the ICO completes.

Development (25%): 1MoYyaPgzkCQZnhV9YZqg6bnd1YMtJmCbk
Marketing (25%): 15yj6LKTnbXV1sX1Q2yDTRtCoFCzYL2UNw
Technical Support (25%): 1FWYksWESgF5cJzWhsvQHoysb62AZwX6xe
Currency Support (25%): 18Q2dJEqfxbiHaegKi3whyNzvjrbXbXnAr

https://www.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-SWIFT will be the marketplace.

Give us 20 more minutes; Dev had everything together, but we had to recreate the marketplace.... apologies for our delay.

thanks

The BitSwift team strongly believes in the BitSwift network product and platform.  ICO funds will be used for further developing of the network.

Like any company who offers an IPO - they use the funds to further develop their product to improve on the products and bring them to market.

After reviewing our product and platform goals (white papers to come), if you are still not comfortable investing, - we urge you not to participate.

We are looking for serious investors only.

Thank You

-BitSwift Team

Hi - could you explain GeoSwift a bit?  If I understand it correctly, does it work similarly to say, localbitcoins?
