They happen all of the time, presumably due to the success of Bitcoindark.  That was the exception rather than the rule.  I placed a very modest investment into DarkPeerCoin right after the ICO because I read the entire thread and liked the interaction from the dev.  Yeah, it didn't work out at all.  Coins that name themselves after established projects should be interacted with caution.

That said, I'm loving Swift and the development.  The next year is going to be amazing in crypto development and user experience.  Speculative pump days might be nearing an end based on the strength of dev teams here and elsewhere which aren't easily copied.

smart investors are already here, at BitSwift.  the things this dev is doing are going WAY further than any shitty alts currently in this turd of a maket, if anyone fails to realize that they are blind (fine if you don't care to invest, that's someone's  personal own call), but I feel they'd be missing out BIGTIME in the coming months.  Mature investors with outside understanding of the business world should have already had and understood the Swift roadmap and plans.

actions speak WAY LOUDER than words in the crypto/alts scene...and this is one dev and coin that rise above and beyond that call each and every time!  every coin thread you click on seems to have its own fair share of BS within it....some coins more than others *cough BAY cough* - where you know there are a ton of scheming shit going on behind investors backs.  i'm sick of it myself.

look at the thread history here alone, the coin plan/path forward, dev forthcoming about everything (business and personal) and twitter feeds.  the price/value reflects that (actually, way undervalued still...so it hasn't even hit the bigtime yet), so all i see is a dev and coin that are doing something bloody RIGHT in this fucked up industry.  and guess what?  it's not stopping, so don't miss the train!
