He has turned his attention to what he calls pretend currency with his latest book, "Bitcon, The Naked Truth about Bitcoin".

pure bullshit he is missing the point as older people often do.....
the ATM VS TCPIP discussion..... bitcoin wil simply takeover he misses the security of a decentralized system.
he misses the fact you can anonymize bitcoin , silkroad 2 , etc  ,he simpley cant see this.
and most importent the NON efectiveness of regulations and force.

I love the way he states that he has fact checked everything and then goes on to say things like "I suspect all small business owner who accept bitcoin convert immediately to cash" and "the price runup was all manipulated so that the greater fool would buy" [paraphrased] with exactly ZERO facts.

He also talks about the "genius" (his words) of the blockchain technology, and how it will allow for immediate value transfer from one place to another, while at the same time dismissing and $ value placed on the coins.  The he brings up the straw man argument that the number of people and businesses that use it are small (duh - it's still new) and so it's useless.  Oh, and the comparison to the number of users as less than the size of the "Kuwait airlines frequent flyers club" - wow, priceless!

My god... this guy is all over the place.  One moment he is dismissing bitcoin as a currency, the next he is praising it as a technology.  Bitcoin IS the blockchain - the currency are the units that are being sent around.   The blockchain is safe and dependable because Bitcoin has value and resources are put behind it to secure it.

Maybe a year ago it would have been relevant. When public heard about Silk Road and thought that btc is only used by drug dealers. Now, such material shows complete lack of understanding on his part.

I imagine he is an ass. My question was about why you correlate that with his age. I tried to be diplomatic about it. Perhaps you missed my point.
