Stop spreading real FUD! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ebola_virus_disease: Human-to-human transmission can occur via direct contact with blood or bodily fluids from an infected person (including embalming of an infected dead person) or by contact with objects contaminated by the virus, particularly needles and syringes. The potential for widespread EVD infections is considered low as the disease is only spread by direct contact with the secretions from someone who is showing signs of infection. Though, the paper money notes is a dirtiest thing you could find around you.

It cannot. i will be not so sure, ebola is transmitted trought droplet infection, this mean blood, sperm, saliva. This mean theoretically, when the paper money is contaminated and you touch it and after that you rub your eyes or you suck your finger, than you CAN have ebola.

Do you accept something with fresh blood or fresh sperm from someone sweeting blood and then you rub your eyes?

That premise is actually really dumb. The best way to convince people to use Bitcoin is to just simply explain the benefits over using fiat currencies.

I guess this depends on the amount of fluid that contains ebola on the money and the time it is transfered to other person. This is more unlikely.

I suppose if someone infected coughed on a bill, handed it to you, and you rolled it up to snort some blow... Maybe.

there are all sorts of bacteria lurking everywhere, and paper money is the hub of many but it is a very statement to assume that ebola can be transmitted through paper fiat money.Best bet against any viruses or bacteria is eat healthy ,so as to build a stronger immune system i think in this day and age we do not realise the "effect" that a good healthy balanced can do to the body...you are what you eat.this ofcourse cannot stop ebola,im speaking on just general precaution for most viruses.

I think this is possible. Does 70% alcohol can kill ebola virus?

I think this idea could have merit. It would have to have fresh body fluids on it, but I don't see why paper money should be considered safe. When a new case is found the authorities are burning all the victims belongings. Bedding, clothing; why not money also?
