Bitcoin Pizza Day is coming up. This is a great marketing opportunity to make the day come we can buy 10000 pizzas for 2BTC. Spread the pizza!

May 22
first real world transaction ever settled with bitcoins (2010 two pizzas for 10.000 bitcoins)

Well, you would need to explain what bitcoins were to the manager, and find some way to convince them they are actually worth something, and that this isn't just a scam. Good luck teaching the technologically impaired about Bitcoins.

it might also be possible to keep it simple. a bitcoin is currently worth $5 and can be exchanged there and there.

I have the perfect neighborhood pizza place to give this a shot at... Combine this with a cashmob and I think we might have a success!

Count me in!

List asset on GLBSE. Open pizza shop in major city. Accept BTC online, obviously also accept fiat CoD. Make "Pizza Day" a monthly event. Franchise it. Pay me 5% royalty on all BTC revenue. Go.

I looked into how pizza places here in germany could accept bitcoins just for one time and I must admit I am a little disappointed. I had in mind a german language exchange with acceptable volume, good usability and sepa withdrawal. nothing comes close. I guess I will buy a pizza from my girlfriend for btc tomorrow and look into this again next year.  Undecided
