I am fearful that the US is going to follow in Argentina's footsteps. Once inflation starts to pick up more rapidly, im not sure what we can do and citizens to stop it
Citizens do not stop such things. They observe them, and are impacted by them to whatever degree they have not prepared.
However, Cyprus was under the Euro, and Argentina has it's own currency.
So what will happen is the miraculous transformation of the Old, Bad Peso, into the New, Strong Peso at say 50:1 official exchange, rate, street exchange rate....
