Haven't heard much from the dev or news about any exchanges.

To help out, I have opened limited trading for Lithium on BlakeTrader.  I don't have a reference exchange so I am just going to set LITH rate roughly between BBTC and BLC.  LITH rates will adjust according to how much LITH I have.  For now, I only have trading between LITH and ELT.  I may open up more trading partners in the future depending on how things go.

Coins that get to the exchange too quickly can just be sold off and we joined this team because it has long term vision.

Ok, my eyes are red, I'm awful tired, end of a long session, so I'm gonna wimp out and ask for some config help here.  Well I offer up tons of help online so I guess it's my turn eh?  Here's the deal.  Got cgminer config set up to log into wallet, batch file runs cgminer with backup pool (eu3.blakecoin.com).  No problems logging in with either, pools are ok.

I've got a 6850 and a 7950 in my machine.  Using the configuration for 6850 posted earlier.  Here's what I'm getting...



Same thing with 1 or 2 threads.  The 6850 stumbles along for a while and then gets a ton of the same errors.  Could do the dig dig digging but I'm just too tired, and besides, if someone explains what's up here, others with the same error will read as well.  Thanks for your time!

HA!  Worksize was too big.  At 64 I'm error-free and tuning.   Sure do have to step things back with this one.  Can someone post some suggested settings for our fave videocards?

Edit:      Just had to add this last... I'm Loving This Algo!  Right now the fastest miner in the suprnova pool is only ten times as fast as my machine instead of the large cardinal surreal number set that I'm used to.  It's got to be distributed or it just doesn't work.  Bitcoin is now a computational black hole, doomed by it's own miners.

I have 2 rigs which have been mining the Blake Ecosystem for several months (with a break over the summer) ...

My #1 rig has an HD7990. It can be a bit ropey so I only run it at I=11, with this I can still watch HD streams or play games while mining. Despite a 3-fan case, the side is off & I have a 1000 m3/hr 'can fan' (formally used for 'indoor gardening' ) blowing under the GPU. With an ambient of 23 degrees, the GPUs are running 78 & 82 degrees. Average hashrate is 4.639 GH/s, WU is 2005/m.

#2 has an HD5870. As this rig is only used for mining, monitoring the pools 7 running a couple of wallets it's at I=14. The side is off that too but it doesn't need extra cooling as it's stable at 67 degrees. Average hashrate is 2.355GH/s, WU=509.9/m.

I run both cgminers with a .conf rather than a .bat here is the one for rig #2

7990!  Beefy!  Yeah, these newer algos certainly do have that advantage, being able to use your machine.  Of course, any mention of heat or cooling is the perfect excuse to show off this big grill.  Found an awesome deal on two Thermaltake 2.0's, $22 each because they had the wrong firmware.  One for the CPU, one for the 7950, leaving two smaller ones for the two 6950's that I've gotta replace caps on.  Temps?  I am completely unable to get the 7950 over 60C, even scrypt hashing, overvolting to 1.3, and running it at 1240/1740.  It's a very easy hack/retrofit if you ever have the mind to.

I am going to chime in here,

Real developers like BlueDragon , myself and a few other of the core team working on the Blake 256 system have no plans (to my knowledge) to involve ourselves in any of the pod schemes.  Thats a bunch of bs started by people who don't even know how to read code.

The only way to 'prove' something is to release it to the world and see if it holds up.

Our code is on github.  It speaks for itself. If you can hack it, break a coin, take it down..... give it a shot.

You won't be the first to try.  We have had so many attacks from all over the world and things I honestly would  have never thought of it's amazing.

So far we survived them all.

Bitcoin was attacked in the past also several times and even took a few hits. It evolved and survived them all. Our codebase benefits from many many things learned by the attempts to attack bitcoin over the years. We are constantly monitoring our networks and looking for signs of trouble and we actually know what to look for and how to stop problems if someone starts trying anything funny.

I see other coins 'released' with high pod ratings that could be easily messed up without even changing the code or recompiling the client because the people running and releasing the coins just don't know ANYTHING about what they are doing. Suppose we take one of your 'highly rated developer' coins , mine it locally playing around with the clocks on the machines used ..then set them back to normal time and use that modified section of the blockchain to 'connect' to your network.........  The timing problems it could cause would be pretty bad.  Even on a proof of work only coin. If the coin was proof of stake the network would be quite messed up for several hours or even days.  There is a good reason PPC has centralized checkpointing.  Transactions on your blockchain could be reversed.  Coins would vanish and people would not understand why. 

Some coins could be just be "snuffed out" since some people don't bother or know how to update thier code and maintain nodes properly. 
I am not talking about a 51% attack I mean just replaced with an alternate blockchain of the same coin. 
There are a lot of people around who know how to do these things most of them are honest.

I don't attack other peoples coins since innocent people could lose coins.
I would not waste even five minutes of my time with destructive actions when I can work on other things that are constructive.

The proof of "anything" is how well it can stand up to the world. That is why you lock your door at night. That is why banks have guards and vaults to keep money in.  These are necessary controls the world has in place.  If they were not there the banks would get robbed. If no one locked thier home some houses would start to get robbed more often. Houses and banks are robbed now even with the locks and safety measures.  But not nearly as often as if they had zero safety measures.

I also agree with BlueDragon and the others who have posted here about mining a single coin vs. mining all the coins at once.

If you get 7 times your hash power this should be pretty obvious.

If you do not care about the other coins do not put addresses in and I think (not sure) the unclaimed coins become donations. (maybe Blue can clairify that)

But based on this i don't see that the dev will do it, so have a good luck with your coin i unwatch now!

POD technically doesn't protect anyone from anything.   All it does is put cryptoasian in the middle of the community and devs when there is a problem.  He doesn't have any authority over anything but his own blog & twitter account.    Unless you think crypto asian is going to whip out this big pot of BTC and pay people back everytime there's a problem.   4/5 POD includes " Have personal email and phone number, Skype, Facebook, or LinkedIn as well as answering all questions".  Sweet, so I give him a made up personal email, a $10 magic jack phone number and a bunch of BS accounts.    who exactly does that protect?  -NOBODY

No disrespect to cryptoasian, I'm sure he's a great guy and it looks like he works hard on POD but just because a dev isn't willing to give a "nobody" all his personal info doesn't mean he's a scammer.
