Recently claimed best place to buy Bitcoin on Coin Telegraph! Wall of Coins is a *platform* that developers can use to help their users acquire or sell their bitcoin. Heck, even an online game can accept cash payments for their system with Wall of Coins platform. That's just one of the more abstract use cases that is in development today.

As for people just looking to buy or sell Bitcoin with each other, WallofCoins currently supports selling/buying through the top 11 banks with cash deposit in the USA. What are the next best features for buyers? Next best features for sellers? I'm looking for more feedback on this service. *Any* input would be greatly appreciated!

The focus is making this as *simple* and safe as possible for both buyer and seller, while allowing developers access to all of these features for their platform. Updates are dated considering UTC time.

Wow... it has been quite a while. There have been HUGE updates to the service and the company. The team has grown to nearly 20 people. Yesterday we set out a new update for Wall of Coins. This is technically a pretty large update--mostly items on our back end that will not be listed here. Some of the things our buyers and sellers may notice are:

• "Best Value" offers are back! We fixed a serious bug we recently introduced that prevented buyers from getting the “Best Value” offers. Buyers can now get a combination of the Best Value offers.
• When you change the ticker, Wall of Coins remembers the new ticker view as your ticker viewing preference. Now you can have the USD/BTC format all the time, without having to click it again...
• New, clearer verbiage on the website's front page, in SMS messages, and during the process in-general.
• Fixed rare issue that caused $0 orders to be generated.
• Fixed rare issue with bitcoin addresses that caused our search engine to crash.
• Requests are more “efficient” on the website.

DEVELOPER INTEGRATION updates:

• Additional security patches for the buying API.
• To prevent any ambiguity, our developer reference server displays the full URL for bank icon and logo source URLs.
• Our widget also remembers the viewer's ticker preferences.

Honestly, I don't know how to let everyone know this information I just know that I've meditated on making an application like this for at least 2 years, and I've constantly looked at ways to solve problems with trust, security, and easy of acquiring or selling Bitcoin. I'm not trying to be the solution for everyone here...but mainly the solution that will help Bitcoin adoption by helping the newbies.

After repeatedly asking in the OTC chatroom to no avail, I am posting the questions here as well.

1) How is the main concept different from Localbitcoins dumbed down to cash deposits only?

There are many, many points. Our core values all focus on *simplicity* to lower the barrier to entry into the Bitcoin world (this is still a big problem), and to eliminate fraud and maximize user security. Many points to buy/sell Bitcoin have huge problems with this, and the best this world has to offer (for the USA) are services like Coinbase or Circle; who are still complicating and involve a lot of friction to get involved.

As far as simplicity goes:

* No need to create a user account.
* Sellers always receive 100% of their bitcoin value when cashing out your coins. (we are a 0 fee market; our business plan for revenue is our licensing, integration opportunities, and we do have a variable buyer fee)
* We do not use formulaic pricing (ie: +2% above OK coin, or -5% BitStamp, etc) ... remember Mt Gox's pricing? It sure created a lot of confusion for new-comers who expected to get coins in the $200s-$300s. Some sellers don't like this, and naturally, a lot of buyers really like it. That's fine: we are not the only ones with this policy, but it's worth mentioning for the sake of simplicity.
* When you buy from WOC, you know exactly how many coins you are getting for the exact dollar price.
* sellers and buyers can confirm and unlock transactions directly from their cell phone--even if they do not have a smart phone. No need to log into another site, no need to run other software on your phone, etc.
* We have a toll free number. You can call us anytime, and we're happy to talk with you and help you. Naturally, business hours are the best times. What other services have this level of support?

Who else *truly* cares this much about their end user? I believe many companies love Bitcoin because it makes them money. We love Bitcoin because it is creating an entirely new and exciting industry.

As for maximizing security and eliminating fraud as much as possible, and establishing trust:

* the first *always* audit-able live market (if you'd like, you can import all of our addresses into a watch only wallet)

I believe pairing services such as LBC are great to help people connect with each other. Unfortunately, these pairing services become a lead hotbed for scammers. New-comers who want to try out BTC and get some, people who want to sell some of their BTC for the first time, and even experienced individuals find themselves on the side as the victim. Forums are riddled with people being scammed...and it is just sad. We're not going to let that happen to any of our users.

Don't get me wrong; scammers try often to target Wall of Coins. They eventually realize that their time is better spent on forums, chat rooms, PayPal, and services like Local Bitcoins.

Last night we updated Wall of Coins. These updates address the many suggestions we've received over the past couple of months. This was a huge update. New features...

1. Added the Wall of Coins Ticker to the front page. Default view displays how many bits one can buy with $1. (Click the ticker to switch to USD/BTC view.)
2. Developers may still access the “market” API information:

3. Able to cancel or discard location tracking when finding Bitcoin to buy.

6. Buyers now have more options to get more Bitcoin for their price budget, or even acquire more Bitcoin than listed on the Wall of Coins web client.
7. “Multiple Banking” offers are available to help buyers purchase more coins across banks.
8. Can now search (typing search) through our supported banks on the bank fields.
9. Citibank now supported! (Indirectly)
10. All Wells Fargo and Bank of America locations are up-to-date and will now be synchronized regularly -- Thanks to our partnerships.
11. Buyers can now purchase more Bitcoin as they wait for previous order verification.
12. “Sell” dashboard has a major over-haul:
    a. Sellers can have multiple Selling Accounts
    b. All selling accounts are summarized on the main page
