Thank you for providing those details.

Seems the amount of deposit is not a factor.

I got this email just now from Circle:

Since our official launch on September 29th, we have tightened our security. This has had the result of blocking almost every non-US card until we are able to establish official partnerships with other countries banking institutions. I know that this is not convenient for you at this time, but making this possible is a priority for Circle.

Bugger.
Well that puts an end to circle until further notice.

Hi i'm in Aus, I've been trying to buy some BTC for nearly a week now.  I had previously used coinjar but i refuse now on the basis of the GST. I tried circle but they wont accept any of my cards,  I tried LBC & thought I found a local person to meet up with in cash (100+feedback) but he didn't response past the initial message & that's turned me off the experience.

After searching for more reputable companies I tried cointree, but they aren't accepting anymore deposits.  Then on Monday I setup with Igot.com, this all seemed to be going very well I did a test deposit of $100 over bpay & was able to buy the next day, however I then discover you have to wait a week to be able to withdraw from there  Angry  .

So after nearly a week I am still without any purchased coins in my wallet, however once igot is past the 1 week stage they look like a good option, that is untill the ATO gets hold of them

BTW this is a useful site if you aren't aware - http://comparebitcoins.net/

igot is useless, then again every website has its owns little issues.

1 week is bullshit though.

im looking into anxpro.

Igot dont seem too bad once past the 7 day period, ANX is only wire transfers from Australia which if that's the case I would rather use BTC-E.

I am currently working on a mechanism to help out you Aussie LBC dealers.  I have access to Coinbase for my BTC since I am in the US and I can accept bank wires as well as use atty based escrow for trades.

I'm very active on the BIG on FB and have my own blog on peer to peer lending including in BTC so you should go check me out.

Good short term solution, but we need something better in the long term or else too many transaction costs...

Agreed, by the time you change with the buy/sell rates and other fees, you may as well just pay the GST and use Coinjar.

Damn you circle, I really hoped you were the better alternative to coinjar.
