I think some people have had shares stolen on c-cex so be careful if you're using them.

No worries, we are here to help and make sure everything runs smoothly Smiley

As for C-CEX... I wouldn't advise purchasing or trading on that platform at all... We are getting reports from many different people that they are less than honest there... As th3joker says some people have told us that they have had shares and other coins stolen from there as well....

We are looking into this at the moment to confirm it but for now I would be very cautious about using them...

****IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMNENT****

As part of our ongoing plan to improve services, we require all investors in Banx shares to transfer all shares held to Banx.io exchange no later than the 28th of November 2014.

As part of our continuing effort to improve Banx Capital services, maintenance is scheduled to begin on the Banx Shares wallet which will involve wallet modification and upgrade to the existing wallet technology.  These are mandatory updates.

This maintenance will require a hard fork of the wallet code, so please be advised that all outstanding shares not deposited on the exchange by the 28th of November are at risk of becoming invalid shares as future wallets will not be compatible with the current wallets.

While the upgrades are being implemented all withdrawals and deposits of Banx Shares will be disabled to prevent complications arising from the new updates.  Please be advised that until testing of the new wallet code is conducted and the results are within expectation to a satisfactory standard, no fixed date is set for the conclusion of these pending updates.

As part of our security auditing process we will be verifying the integrity of Banx shares account holders assets on the Banx.io exchange according to our auditing records to ensure that we continue to provide a high standard of service to our customers.

What this means

Whilst your shares are held on Banx.io they will still collect profit payout fees as usual at the end of each month and can be traded as normal on the exchange during this period.  However, Banx shares not deposited on the exchange by the cut-off date will not qualify for payout fees, and will become incompatible with the new wallet technology.
If you have any questions regarding this announcement, please contact Banx Capital at:

****IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT****

Well that's fair enough.
Shares sent to the exchange.
Very reassuring to see proactive developments of this nature & the Banx team actively addressing the wallet "issues" identified earlier in the thread.

Having thought about it a bit, I don't really see any reason why I need to take my shares out of Banx.io anyway, I'm in it for the long haul and the dividend payout Smiley

Thanks Mark & the Banx team

Ahh, yeah i'd like to see proof (of stolen banx shares) looks like there is more to this than is being said, sorta like a little smearing due to ccex and banx devs not agreeing on something. I'll be selling my shares now, i don't deal with pettiness and bullshit.

That of course is your choice, you are free to do whatever you want with your shares. However this is not just pettiness and bullshit as you put it... There are not disagreements between our devs but they have gone back on their word with us and we have heard reports from other people that they have had coins stolen from there... There is a post in this thread from someone that has had them stolen. Now I don't know if he has forged that proof or not but he is not the only one we have heard from.

Like I said at the start it is up to you what you do with your shares. Not sure in what way you would be dealing with pettiness and bullshit though... You are just holding/trading our shares. You don't have to deal with the devs or anyone involved if you don't want to!

I wish you all the best in your endeavours and if you wish to speak with us more then feel free to get in touch.

As far as I'm aware the Banx team asked them to delist their shares a while back, looks like not only have they not done so but also started to rip people off. Steer clear of C-CEX everyone!

This guy write this everywhere (take a look on his posts). His account was compromised. Someone got password from his e-mail and logged into his account clearing his BTC. This account never activated 2FA. We already replied to all his tickets, but looks like he can't realise what has really happened.

Does anyone has any unresolved problem with BANX at C-CEX? If so just open ticket and this will be resolved very fast: https://c-cex.com/?id=support

I already contacted Mark to help clarify sutuation about those posts.

I have never had any issues with C-cex. They have always been responsive.

My questions was is BANX going to be removed from C-cex as Mark has indicated?

My understanding of a hard fork would mean it would have to be removed, even if for a short period, however that will then depend on how long the upgrade takes.
This would be the case for any hard fork as far as I am aware otherwise there would be major issues due to incompatible block chains etc.
I'm sure Banx will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see how it is possible for them to be listed while the wallet upgrades are made, so I am assuming they will be removed in the interim.

OK lets try and clear this up now shall we.

We have only heard reports from people that they have lost shares on C-CEX, we have not personally lost any ourselves and the only proof we have of the reports we have received is what has been posted on this thread by the user: huangliang.  We are just warning that there are these comments floating around. I will state that I have never personally had any problems on that exchange but I have heard of others so I am just warning to be a bit cautious...

As for Banx being delisted from C-CEX, we did ask them to delist Banx and they changed the deal on us without our permission so they are still listed there. There will likely be a period where there are no shares on there while we do the upgrading of the wallet. If there are shares still on C-CEX or any other exchange or even in local wallets after the cutoff date of the 28th it is HIGHLY likely they will become invalid after the upgrades have been completed.

If you have any further questions please either PM myself, Mark or head over to www.banxforum.com and post in there where you can speak to xodian who is much more knowledgeable about the hard fork stuff than me.

I hope that helps answer some of your questions and again please feel free to send any of us messages if you have further questions about any of this.

We have only heard reports

Why don't just open ticket for us and explain problem? Do You think people directly went to forums without trying to recover their funds if they really lost them? Sounds weird.

I indeed got requests from Mark to delist BANX, but I explained him that this will abuse our customers trading BANX at C-CEX (having bigger volume than on banx.io) and will break the model of free market and free trading while wallet is public and everybody can trade on forums/chats etc. Why not on exchange? I never had any deals with them about delisting BANX.

I know you are speaking to Mark on Skype at the moment so lets leave it at that. This is not the place for the discussion as it will only hurt both of our brands and that is not our aim here for either of us!

please see correspdonance and deal made with Lobos.

since trading started CCEX has had larger volume than BANX.io for two days only.

Maybe you need to get a handle on your staff and who is doing what. Maybe you should not allow Pride to do deals to get new crypto on to your exchange and then want the deal changing within 10 days of launching.

I'm done with you. no more chat end of conversations.

Bye.
