Really cool coin, but I think the premium is way too high on these 1.21 BTC for 2 ounces of silver...

Really cool coin, but I think the premium is way too high on these 1.21 BTC for 2 ounces of silver...

This coin is so much more than the spot price of silver;

Production costs – including producing artwork for the tooling, making a mould and dies.
Unique hologram production – Including producing artwork and creating shims for the production.  The de-metallization process to make the clear window is also an extra cost
Handmade solid wood boxes – Our boxes are individually hand made from solid oak – Not Cheap!
Hallmarking – Each coin is individually hallmarked and the quality of the metal is tested on every single coin
Plaque & Coin laser engraving – Each box and coin is uniquely numbered
Booklet production – The booklet and COA that comes with each coin, comes at a cost
Free Worldwide shipping – P&P to any destination worldwide is also included in our price

If you take all that into consideration, you will discover our mark-up on the product is very modest.

Hope that helps!

Perhaps you could make the Wood boxes an add-on for additional cost, so those who are trying to save some money and dont need the box, may be able to save a little.  Just a thought.

I do think they add to the overall presentation, and should be included for the gold.

Cryptolator does something like this for their copper coin on their website, where several things are a la carte.

Perhaps you could make the physical coin an add-on for additional cost, for people who just want the bitcoins and are trying to save some money.  Cheesy (only joking)

I bought Coinographic's 25 LTC piece, and am impressed with the quality of their products. The box is very solid, and is a nice part of the collectible experience. Here's my video review of that coin.

Anyway, current bid is 2.8 BTC.

Is 2 months of auction time really necessary here?

Can you please tell me if you handle the coinographic ebay account? I purchased one of your litecoins and have sent two messages with questions since, neither have been answered. First was sent Tuesday 7th and another on Wednesday 8th.

Dont worry buddy its sorted now Smiley. The first message was asking if the coin had been despatched and it arrived the next day. The second asked about funding then I noticed there was instructions in with the coin about sending an email to Coinographic to get it funded, which has now been done as I received an email confirming this today. Sorry I posted this on your thread, I should have sent a PM Embarrassed.

Can we extend the time to pay? I want this, but don't have the BTC currently, and I'm planning on selling coins soon.

Personally I thought the auction was too long as it was.  Almost 2 mths.
