280 one day, 350 a few days later, now heading back into the 300s?
This is the kind of stuff that gets us made fun of in the mainstream news.

If people would HOLD more, maybe we all could win more by reaching the price higher.
Economy works like this, you pay X because you think that later you can sell it for more, not because you think something is X worth. Many examples like Enron or Spanish Gowex told you something that is really worth -a lot was sold once for a lot of $ or €.

That's how it is man... Most of the people here are the first ones to jump into the bull trap & they will now lose money as we go back to 300. Retail investors generally buy way too high & have to deal with low prices later. Too bad BTC can't learn from wall street & just stop these bs exchanges from devaluing bitcoin. The price will continue to crash down then rise again way down the line after they bought plenty coins cheap. Watch out for the correction in price, don't get caught in the crossfire
Holding doesn't help us, the whales still are able to crash the price down! Selling & buying back near 300 makes sense so we can make money not give them $$

If we hit $300 again next week then I wouldn't be suprised that there is actually no current public demand for BTC other than speculation.

Ever heard of the stock market? This kind of stuff happens all the time in ALL markets whether its stocks, real estates, diamonds or gold. That's what prices do: fluctuate.

I don't give any trading advice, but here's my advice for pretty much everything and ESPECIALLY for bitcoin:
It is what it is. Accept it, deal with it and try to make the best of it.
No amount of utopian hopefulness towards a BTC ruled world is going to keep people from taking profits at your expense.

Like every other bear on this forum, they'll say it's a "lucky guess" (even if you have a consistent record of predictions) and you'll be marked as a "troll" for your troubles. I haven't been following this place much lately, but it seems like most of the people still hanging around here at this point are the bitcoin faithful.

Yes, but its not the end of whatever it is when the price goes down.... when have you last heard them saying that was the end of the stock market when it goes down 300 points? No you dont..... unlike BTC , they say the end is near now that the prices are down from the ATH, but they dont say that the price was pennies on the dollar way before they even cared.

Let them make fun of it. BTC does in a year what other investments do in a decade. And wild price fluctuations make it a traders heaven. So in the end, joke's on them if they're not here to take advantage.

My date registered is a bit later, but I still feel there is a core point of technology that still hasn't been fully realized. I work in technology, and this is still new to people like me. This is a long play, even if it isn't Bitcoin that makes it happen. Crypto is here to stay, and that idea will only grow with time.

Dont worry WE are already working to get what's needed...
As many have said before the real goal is to get an ever-growing community of USERS and most importantly MERCHANTS to use the coin and of course we... the dealers and holders...
We are working to get there already...
Maybe any of you have any idea that we can make to help it doit faster... but even if you arent, dont you worry... ANY of us can be HOLDER in fact it doesnt even matter what ALT coin you preffer, you only need to pick one or two if you preffer and wait thats it... in time all those coins are going to be merged into a single one.
and then all of the HOLDS are going to worth a lot.
by that time a lot of people is going to be using those coins ( all over the world) but in order to do that we need to work together thats why we need eachother.
RESPECT

This is a long play, even if it isn't Bitcoin that makes it happen. Crypto is here to stay, and that idea will only grow with time. That's effectively my stance. Bitcoin as a currency is incredibly interesting, but in my opinion not nearly as interesting as the decentralized network upon which it operates. My only point in referencing the registration date of the OP is only to highlight that this type of volatility is nothing new, and we've ebbed and flowed through these cycles before. To say that Bitcoin is "becoming" like a pump-and-dump blah blah blah is a statement cast from a more narrow range of experience.
