or bitcoin will bleed to dead.
definitely not =) Relax guys, bitcoin entering new invisible phase, price gonna be 300-500 for next 2-3 years, and then we may see new bubble after next halving. Just use it now as money, not as investment. I will use bitcoin as money once Amazon and Steam accept it

I will never spend a satoshi until it is at parity with a penny. Too precious. I will continue buying with all available cash flow until that point. There are only 21 million possible Bitcoins, and many have been burned or lost. If you fools allow me, I will own all of the rest. This will be my only public service announcement on the subject, as this is a zero sum game. Do as you will.

I think you might be right about that. Hopefully the emotional panicking types have all exited by now, and we'll have another big run. Maybe to $5000, then we "collapse" down to $2000.

I'm quite sure bitcoin will recover. Just hold guys, you'll see the light in time. If you have doubts, google bitcoin, go to the news tab, and read the many encouraging articles written daily by innovators and academics alike. Every day a new rich person understands, it's just a matter of time

We need it to go from "innovators and academics" towards "common folk usage". The question is how in hell do we get there.

Why not spend the BTC and then buy it back? That is your zero-sum game. You can even take advantages of sales that are offered to bitcoin-only purchases. Bitcoin needs to become more "everyday" before it will be generally accepted by the masses. Using it will lead to that, and will in turn get more merchants to accept it and realize the potential. As this trickles down to suppliers, one day we will reach a point where the whole cycle from supply to manufacturing to shipping to store shelf can be transacted in bitcoin, and THAT is the time when it's value will really skyrocket. So keep your satoshis. Keep your balance the same (or increase it). But support the notion and spend and rebuy the coin.
