Go to wallet console and type setgenerate true and hit enter, then job done. -gen Generate coins in .conf gen=1 but if I set limit or unlimit ? "setgenerate <generate> [genproclimit] <generate> is true or false to turn generation on or off. Generation is limited to [genproclimit] processors, -1 is unlimited. (code -1) " What's better ? |

If you want to set mining from .conf command then your conf file will look like this bro rpcuser= it is set with a name rpcpassword= it is set with a pass rpcallowip=localhost rpcport=**** server=1 gen=1 And about CPU, if you set it to mining then it will use your cpu power. There is no other way around. |

setgenerate <generate> [genproclimit] and the right command is setgenerate true 1 Yes, Thx it working, now need to find the right way to set it in the .conf ...............................

Gen=1 is for generate blocks so it doesnt do anything to limit your cpu core and i have no exact idea how to set your 3 core cpu to mine with only 1 core, if i find any info on that i wil pass you later in PM. Dont worry SHNICI Free money is good in crypto we all love it try setgenerate=true 1 in debug->console try this option as nikl suggested, but you have to do it in wallet console, not in .conf file. This will work to limit your cpu core to set mining on 1 core only and you can use other 2 core for your browsing stuffs. I do it and Thx for that suggestion, but if u use setgenerate=true 1 there u will get error, I use it w/o " = " and it work in the debug->console, now I check the qt [command-line options], from where I write/build my .conf file to be right |
