As you know, there are several sites that will pay you a small amount of bitcents every day. I try to check in on them every day, but I find it hard to keep track of which sites I've visited, and how long I will have to wait before I can come back. Therefore I have created a small service to keep track of this for me. And I've made it public, so you can use it too:

http://skude.se/BTC

Features:
  • A collection of links to all the sites that give out daily amounts
  • Timers to keep track of how long you will have to wait before you can make new requests, one for each site
  • Traffic light indicator rearranges and color-codes the links according to their availability
  • Address-saver with 1-click copy and address information
  • Automatic address entry for compatible sites*

* Automatic address entry is currently supported by Bitcrate, CoinAd and Daily Bitcoins.

If something isn't working, please report it here. I'd also like to know if there are any more sites that I haven't heard of that are giving out daily coins.

I've added a feature. If you save an address in the address-saver, it will be automatically entered for you when you go to compatible sites. For now, it works with FiveMinuteCoin and CoinAd.

Neat, I could have used something like this for some time. And I've just found out about more free bitcoin sites I didn't even know about. Thanks! Cool

What I'd like to see, though, is:

Allow a different address for each site (since this has been how I'd been doing it—makes it easier to track how much I get from each place). Unless I'm mistaken, it seems it only supports one address for everything.

Give each site an individual timer which can be manually reset if desired. I usually spend a few minutes (or even more) on each site trying to get a better prize, so having the timer start when I first go there, but before I claim a prize, would result in the timer reaching zero too soon. The problem gets worse since sites within a timing group seem to share the same timer, and I've spent time at each site in turn. By this time, the timer would be even further off for the earlier visited sites. If each site had its own timer that I could manually reset, I could just reset the timer for that site once I claim my prize, and each one will remain accurate.

I will be adding individual timers for every site as soon as I get the time. Individual addresses might come next. That requires quite some space in the top frame though. Any idea how they can all fit without being very very tiny?

Right now, you can manually reset any timer by clicking the corresponding link again. This will change after I've added individual timers. The option to manually reset timers will still be there, but it will have it's own button.

Hmm, good question. Maybe you could have a small “edit” icon of some sort near each site that pops up the text box with the Save/Copy/Delete buttons, which would just apply to that site (you wouldn't really need to try to show them all at once, just one at a time). It'd still be a good idea to allow the user to easily select one address for all sites like it is now, but I'm trying to think of a way that wouldn't complicate the UI coding too much. Or instead of the icons, a drop-down list of sites, which may include an “all sites” option for Save and Delete (preferably with a confirmation dialog, since it would wipe out the existing addresses for all the sites at once). The address box would automatically update to reflect whatever site is currently selected in the dropdown list.

I'm just thinking of ideas off the top of my head. I'll post later if I happen to think of something that might be cleaner/easier/more elegant.

Recent changes look cool, by the way. Cool

How about changing the title of the page to begin with "(X)", where X is the number of sites you currently have "available"? If you keep the page open in a tab, you will see that number popping up.

There seems to be an incompatibility with the wide banner ad on coinad.com (currently seems to be the “Dragon Tale” one) in Firefox 10. When I click it, I just get a blank page. Then, none of the site links in the upper frame work anymore until I reload the page or click the “Home” button. The ad works fine when I visit coinad.com without using skude.se/BTC.

Coinslot does have payouts available, but they are emptied very fast since the number is limited. I managed to get a payout from Coinslot just yesterday. Write down the "Claimed" number and go back in 24 hours, you'll see that it's changing.

Looks like I found the problem. I had an ad blocker that was interfering.  Grin

Last night for some odd reason, all the timers appeared to freeze, and when I got up and checked (10 hours later) nothing had changed. Only when I refreshed the page did I find that several sites were ready for me to come back.

It seems that the site normally refreshes itself periodically so that the timers can update. I wonder if it would be a good idea to implement some sort of dynamic Javascript timers that can update without reloading the page, though. It seems Firefox isn't too reliable with reloading a page when a script tells it to.

The reloading is done with a meta refresh right now, and javascript when you click a link.

I will be doing a complete rewrite of the site some time soon. I'll look into the reloading issue then.

What the heck?! It just spontaneously deleted my data. It worked fine one minute, then suddenly the addresses and all my timers are gone. My Internet connection has been iffy lately, so I guess the cookie didn't get sent to the server, but is that a reason for it to just trash my existing cookie without asking first? Is there a way to avoid this?

Nope, it was a normal tab. There were issues with the Internet connection constantly going down at the time, though, so maybe that somehow caused some weird things to happen.

Is it just me, or are several of the sites killing the skude.se frame (Oscry, and now mycryptcoin, which also refuses to work now with the referral in the link) when I go to them?

Edit: mycryptcoin appears to be back up now, but only if the referral part is removed from the URL.

Oscry is now working with automatic address entry.

Is it just me, or are several of the sites killing the skude.se frame (Oscry, and now mycryptcoin, which also refuses to work now with the referral in the link) when I go to them?

Edit: mycryptcoin appears to be back up now, but only if the referral part is removed from the URL.

What do you mean the sites are "killing the frame"?

Ah, sorry about the colloquial language. What I mean is, when I click a link to those sites, the skude.se frame somehow gets removed. But the webmasters of those sites may have decided they don't want to be framed and are maybe running some code to prevent being framed by another site.

Hmm, Firefox 13, but it seems to be fixed for me, too, so must have been another weird glitch.

The last few times I've tried 'mycryptcoin' I get an error message after the captcha.

"Server Error in '/' Application."

Anyone else getting this?

Ok... odd thing... I'm seeing the same exact error message in several different sites so far, unrelated to each other... sometimes in a frame...

so... I'm thinking to myself... wasn't there supposed to be something happening today that was supposed to affect a bunch of users (and perhaps, sites as well?) which might have some contribution to this?

and... wasn't the FBI supposed to be shutting down a DNS redirector they had set up a while ago, because of a widespread malware infection, changing people's DNS settings to the infector's DNS servers?

I could swear it was supposed to be turned off today...

only thing that comes to mind... unless a piece of software put out a bad update today that some sites are auto-applying...

just a thought...

MyCryptCoin is currently broken. "Click here to proceed" yields:

Code:
Server Error in '/' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Terrible error handling.

To me at least, MyCryptCoin didn't pay anything for a long time before it broke. There are also small errors ("you address") reported in their thread which never got fixed. It's an abandoned site, I think.

Some other new sites have been suggested. I'll look into adding some of them.

This was a fairly entertaining project to work on, but unfortunately it's not generating enough profit to be self-sustaining. For the time being, until I can dedicate more time to figuring out how to monetize this site properly, I'm turning it off.

Is it just me, or do most of the pages listed not care about paying out anything anymore.
At least my experience is that only 1 or 2 outof 5-6 payments make their way to me.

Same for BitVisitor too, at least 1/3 of the mBTC "paid" never arrive at my wallet.

If they don't pay anyway, why dont they just quit, or at least show us a message that they're out of coins?

Just wondering, not that i would really care about a couple of satoshis i get there (or not), i just click 'em when i'm bored.

Maybe it was you then i got that 0.0001BTC from today,
but that's been the only received payment for today, although i used all of the 6 sites on skude.se/BTC (of which one (oscry) at least told me it's shut off).

I generally have no problems getting payments from most of the sites if no error message of some sort pops up. The exception is BitVisitor, which the last couple of days I've been having the same issue with never receiving most of the payments due.

It does seem like quite a few of these sites are broken fairly often, abandoned, and/or seem to be half-heartedly run, though DailyBitcoins and CoinAd have been pretty reliable and well-maintained over the long term in my experience.

I've had luck with them a couple of times too.

They should really have more ads on that site as well, to help pay for more payouts/profits.

Thanks for pointing me to it, I'll stop using them because of their greed (they also don't seem to like the fact that I'm using an ad blocker which blocks just one of their ads). I usually white-list all websites that I like except those that beg me to turn off my ad blocker.

I just the did the daily BTC scratch-off and got 0.007 five times. How do I get that sent to me without sending BTC to play the lotto?
Will it automatically be sent to my address without me doing anything except scratching?

Has anyone checked out dailybtc.com? It looks fun. You don't have to pay anything (unless you want to try for the jackpot). I just got 0.006 BTC.

I just the did the daily BTC scratch-off and got 0.007 five times. How do I get that sent to me without sending BTC to play the lotto?
Will it automatically be sent to my address without me doing anything except scratching?

The only time I won (before the match-three-values thing) it got sent automatically. No need to play the lotto.

Did it get sent right away?  I will check the address I used to see if/when anything shows up.

Thanks

Something changed to break the CAPTCHAs on most of the linked pages if you let them load in the frame below the header.  If you right-click and select "open in another tab," they work properly.  I thought it was just another bit of Chrome weirdness at first, but Firefox behaves the same way as well.

After just the few seconds you have to wait to click submit? I wouldn't think so. (The screenshot was taken a bit after that...took a bit to find the KDE screenshot app.)

Geez...I wasn't expecting the Spanish Inquisition.

Maybe this sequence will make the problem more obvious:

Waiting for the timer to count down:

Clicked the button and got this:

These were taken with Chrome on Windows, but it happens in every browser I've tried (Firefox, Chrome, Chromium, iCab Mobile) on every OS I have (Windows, Linux, iOS).

Maybe a firewall or something interfering? Either that or some part of the site is down when the prize reads 0.00000. That once happened to me. Normally it should be some small amount (currently 0.00005).

Cool  Cool

Idea: I've noticed that a couple of sites like Coinslot and Dailybtc appear to reset at a specific time of day regardless of payout time rather than 24 hours since the last payment request. Coinslot resets at 2 AM US Central and Dailybtc may reset at somewhere around 12 AM Eastern (I haven't confirmed the latter yet). For those sites, using a different class of daily timers which always shows the amount of time until that time of day would be more accurate.

I had that exact problem myself. I'll remove the link in the next update if things haven't changed.

CoinAd has a new policy: You can request coins every 23 hours (it used to be 24). The timer has been updated accordingly.

The bitcoin.so thing is the same for me- double 4's on the dice, yeah I've won 0.01 and their payout balance is 0.00074 something and it keeps telling me I have enter the validations wrong. Get rid of it until they can figure out their act instead of just pushing ads at us for their own benefit.

You can get the validation right by not using a space between the word and the number they ask for. Instead, you get an error that says there's not enough funds to pay the reward. I'll remove the link.

So, at the moment, the timer for Bithits is set to six hours, which isn't really fair. The site allows 3 hits per 24 hours, but you can make all three of them within a very short time. I'm working on counting to three clicks and then setting the timer to 24 hours.

Hey, can you add our faucet http://freecoins4.me please?
Operating since april, now we made some improvements. Hopefully we will be able to advance with our faucet even further.

1. We use MicroWallet for payouts, so they are instant from our side (they are stacked on microwallet but many other faucets use this as well, so you can get your payouts faster). We reached out to Bit Chest and Coinbox as well, and maybe we will be able to offer a choice for our users in the future.
2. Currently: 1-100 satoshi per payout. We hope we will be able to increase the numbers in the future.
3. You can use our faucet once every 6 hours (soon to be lowered).
4. We have a great referral program, explained on the website. Tl;dr: 10% of each refs earnings + a multiplier for your payouts (created from number of refs). More on the website.
