We all know that the purpose of taxes is for the development of one's country, it is also used for the public services that we benefit. So we cannot get away from paying taxes, if you don't pay tax you don't have the rights to complain.

Right. As if people have a choice. And holding up arms would definitely make it a lot worse. Its your obligation to pay taxes and for me, as long as those taxes are put to good use, then i don't think there's any reason why we shouldn't pay them. Its for everyone's good anyways.

For me it's ours duty to follow orders that based on our law besides paying taxes is for our own sakes. The taxes that we are paying goes for community needs. That funds used for developing our country for public services like for education, health needs and everything that needs by the people of the Philippines. And I believe that complaining is not a good deed.

That is very dependant on the country. There are places where paying taxes is "for loosers" and other in which your own neighbour will tell on you if you avoid taxes. Is very cultural.

As far as I know there are countries that pay taxes but it is so cheap so it is not a problem. In our country another law was submitted and approved by the president though they said that it is for the best so all we can only do is to follow those law. We do not want to be a tax evader so we just need to follow.

We agreed to pay taxes because the government said to build projects, renovate, programs and many others. It will be beneficial to all of us. But some government official uses this for their corruption because they know nobody can stop them.

They agree to pay taxes because they want their community progressive and more people will help to the way of paying taxes. Because we all know if you are a citizen of one country you are responsible to pay taxes.

It is through paying our taxes that the government gets their funds. The government doesn't just print money and use it when they run out of them. If people refused to pay they'll have a lack of funds and the government falls, then the country falls as well. Plus the government has laws against people who evade taxes, so you're gonna pay taxes whether you like it or not.

It's just too bad that some governments doesn't use all what we give them to our own benefit

They agree to pay taxes because they want their community progressive and more people will help to the way of paying taxes. Because we all know if you are a citizen of o
ne country you are responsible to pay taxes.

You should pay taxes because the government is obliged you to do so in return of the services from the government like infrastructure, Health services , security, education and other services. As a good citizen you should pay taxes so to have a good government .

Collecting taxes from the people had been present ever since from the roman days, way back before this common era. It was a political tradition that was said to be, and intended to help those who are in power to govern the people. As we continue to adopt the system of government, Taxes are collected to create revenues and subsidies to help build infrastructures and give free services to the lower class. But, if the taxes collected are not distributed properly, or just being corrupted by few greedy persons, then that would create chaos and terror to the government.

Its not that the government pools all that money together just for their personal needs and wants .. taxes are a way to improve a country's economy.. to build infrastructures and all kinds of projects that the citizens would benefit from.. its like a circulation of how the money flows within society.. with its citizens giving a portion of their salary which in turn would be given back to them by means of infrastructures and the like..

Yes this is true.  The country itself especially if it is a third world country needs the tax paid by its citizen.  This is where the government gets its fund to use for the building of roads, infrastractures and such those things that will be used by its people.  It is mandatory.  Thankfully here in my country, tax has decreased.

It is very okay if people will be paying taxes it is also for their own good, issue comes when the taxes are too much specially for the people who doesn't have that hight wages. also the wages in some country is too much low.
