I agree with the policy to pay taxes first, to also help all government workers to have their right salary. Second, to help government to improve our country like build some school for all children that can't afford to pay tuitions some like that. This is actually a question of human solidarity.
People who are richer do not need so mach state services.
Poor people and children, and the unemployed, who do not contribute so much to society, need state services as public health service, cheap public transport, pensions etc.
Richer people are expected to give more although they need less government services.
Poor people give less but receive more from the state.
Without righteous tax policy, richer people would have everything and the poor people would have nothing.
This would lead to great social inequality, chaos, disorder and rebellion.
So, we have no choice but to pay taxes.
