So who is this? Possible virus and miner hijack, attempting to look legit with a 'fix' to get people to download these files. What fix? Why is it needed? Considering reporting to a moderator.
That user is a "bot" or a "farmer". He's just copying old posts and pasting them like they're his own. His post above in this thread is probably SP's post from ~ 2015. How else would those poor idiots farm their bitcointalk accounts? When they post useless crap like "interesting project!", "good job!" etc, they get reported for low quality posts. So they figured they'd just copy some old valid posts from other users and paste them as their own thoughts. Except they're so stupid they can't even pick the right posts to go unnoticed. This particular guy managed to post links in this thread, and he also copied someone else's post in another thread saying how there's going to be reward halving for LTC in a couple months and how LTC is supposed to cost at least $8 if BTC is no less than $230.

The last 10% is the most profitable percent. Opensource miners move to other coins, and you get 10% more than the competition. Actually you get 30-40% more than the competition since most of the miners mine the big coins like ethereum and zcash. and the sp-mod bins are made for more profitable coins.

most profitable now are nist5, neoscrypt, x17, blake2s, lyra2v2 ... you have no good miners for them.

My farm is currently farming 4 more profitable algos than the ones you have listed with the sp-mod private kernels.

Ghmmm, I made 5$/day from each g4560/4600. So 1060 can be much more profitable. Of cause if you are not bensam1231 - than 2$ from 1060 will be extraordinary achievement.

Mmm some of these markets are really juicy, glad Nicehash is still down.
Electronium does $4.63 per day on the gtx 1060 with the sp-mod.. SP mode is faster about 30-50khs per 10603gb vs open source do people actually buy his mods? At 500 per 1060 that's an additional 10%. Depending on what yours runs at the closer to 400 you get, the bigger that percent gets. well ok if one has 1k cards "ok" My 1060 3gb gets me about 557 (sp mod screenshot gets 580) so who cares

Sure... As was mentioned earlier, people have more then one 1060, especially since those are cheaper cards.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

And around 630-640 with spmod. But again better to run at 610-620. Anyway it's not good idea to mine cryptonight on nvidia.

Slightly off topic, but if one were to be building more nvidia rigs today, is there no major disadvantage to simply going with 1080tis, assuming recent expectations for average profits? Perhaps considerations to be made with respect to the GDDR5X and currently profitable algos? 1070/ti may allow for more versatility in that regard. My op currently only has only 1060s because at time they were the most effective hash/$ card at the time, not counting the sold out AMD models. Based on the current retail pricing (in Canada at least), it seems that profitability projections for almost all nvidia cards scales linearly with the price. That being said, by going with the more expensive cards you save money on other rig hardware when scaling up and increase your output density, while better preserving future card value. Curiously, assuming you maximise cards per rig to the fullest, 1060s (3gb) actually do seem to still edge out as the most effective $/hash assuming resell value is not a factor, but I believe it's negligible enough that it does not outweigh the benefits of the higher end cards.
Real off. Sp just gathered enough money to buy ONE 1080ti. And you are asking about the farm
