Ravencoin 3-days price rally today. But the mining is stuck in high difficulty. Raven use 2016 blocks to calculate a new diff and when a horde of nicehash users mine "the most profitable coin", the difficulty skyrockets. When the nicehash users leave, the other miners need to wait 2016 blocks to get the difficulty down to profitable levels. This bug has been fixed in the renesis fork. (new asic resistant coin (fork of the raven blockchain))

The wonderful mining profit in the x16r algo lastet for 9 hours. Now the blockchain is "stuck" for another 4-5 days on a high difficulty

Here is preresults for the 1080ti sp-mod #2 34MHASH on the 1080ti. sp-mod #1 did 31 on the same clocks.

Sort of curious, BTC hasn't dropped that much compared to a month ago, but mining profits are still dipping a lot further then they were a month ago. Which means hashrate is actually increasing quite fast or altcoin markets are completely tapped out. Not sure who would still be buying cards right now with the current profitability and outlook, especially on a large scale. At $.1kWh power cost is almost half of the revenue for a 1070.

How nicely does the pc nevertheless feature whilst that is running?  i exploit the everyday ccminer with no troubles to those who use the computer systems and it receives approximately 2500 kh/s on a 750ti.

I recognize that pc characteristic of the miner would not count to loads of oldsters and commonly no longer to me both however there are some that I favor to still have usable computers.  tia

Even the niche coins are completely violated that definitely don't have ASICs. Miners aren't always the smartest bunch, but when we're approaching 4 year ROI on an extremely risky investment I don't know what to say to that. Pretty sure hash is still increasing quit fast even though profits are suuuuper down. This is one of the lowest points we've been at in years. This may continue into next year as well until the apprehension to BTC climbing goes away and people stop trying to manipulate it so much.

I've been in maintenance mode for the last eight months, it's getting kinda boring. Although income is basically a trickle now.

here are some preresults:

ccminer sp-mod git  vs T-Rex 0.5.7

2 identical cards (gtx 1070ti) started at the same time. on the same pool to 2 different adresses. with a fixed difficulty of 2 (-p d=2 in the password)

batfile 1:
ccminer -d 1 -p d=2 (pool data)

batfile2:
t-rex -d 2 -p d=2 (pool data)

1000 accepts

T-rex has fewer rejected shares, but the speed is almost the same.

My mod is free and opensource.. 0% fee

t-rex vs sp-mod after around 2000 accepted shares at diff 2.

t-rex rejected: 0.55%
sp-mod rejected: 2.5%

The spmod-git opensource is currently +8.4% faster than t-rex, but this can change with other sequence numbers.

With a quick 15-minute trial, I got about 50 accepts, no errors, 100% accepts.  I was running with "The Pill", a slight memory overclock, and intensity 23.  I did not try to evaluate speed, but there were no red-lines or errors.  There are some low-difficulty Raven clones out there to harvest...

You run the eth pill on X16R? I'd think overclocking with no pill would get you a better hash rate, no? Just because lots of the algos aren't memory intensive.
