it works on my NVIDIA rig but on AMD it says "your system does not support CUDA 11.2 API" when i add the -i command,
i even tried without the "--all-cu-devices" command

I guess there are some problems on AMD cards with the linux build. Will look into it.
i'm on windows, the -i command seems to be a CUDA exclusive

My 1060ti and 1060 3GB cards are mining Haven (XHV) just now, about $10 a day's worth.

How are you getting so much with these cards and this coin? https://ibb.co/8j14kqW

9 CARDS TOTAL, 2 RIGS--

My 1050ti rig has 5 cards, I really need to add one more.  My 1060 3GB rig has 4 cards.  I can't mine VTC with either one.  They easily mine $10 a day in Haven (XHV).  I mark up XHV on the exchange and wait.

Sp_ somehow doesn't feel like packaging his miner to be compatible with older systems, like PhoenixMiner and Gminer, and others.  I have posted on both PhoenixMiner and Gminer BCT forums and asked for VertHash inclusion.  Those 2 miners run reliably, and have good "extra" features.

I have donated to sp_ several times in the past.  The size of the donations is worth a lot more in fiat today.  A BTC could once purchase a French 20 Frank gold coin.  Now, it can purchase close to 300.

And, I don't have any "1060ti" cards, if any were ever made as OEM (?).  It is a typo.

Yes, fixed the bug now. Will be included in the next release..

Sp_ somehow doesn't feel like packaging his miner to be compatible with older systems

I believe time spent elsewhere is more important. But maybe in the future. At least I have two linux builds now..

THANK YOU--

I'll wait.  No choice just now.  TRM works like a charm but is AMD only.  I need to only run a command line to install it on my rigs.

What are your issues? I'm running 6x p106-090 (1060 3GB) and also one 1050 ti in workstation. I can make more with VTC.

Running Windows 10 Enterprise N LTSC.

You need to undervolt the 1060s to 825mv, same with 1050 Ti, use mem tweak options from t-rex miner, and use spminer #4 cuda 10 fix.

Image of six cards running, rig alive for maybe two days: https://ibb.co/HKr7L8f

With this settings running on mining pool hub, it all works out as expected for me.

EDIT: for now SPminer is the best option, maybe not perfect but best. I asked trex, they said maybe but busy with ethash and octopus, phoenix ignored me...

With current difficulties/prices, both VTC and ETC are the best options for these cards.

EDIT 2: https://ibb.co/8YnJzH1 best options IMHO, this is worked out with 6x p106 and electric cost of $0.27, using best hashrates for my setup on both algos.....

You should set up dual mining with the spminer and zilminer. zil use abit more power than verthash, so make sure your rig can handle it.The zilminer can crash so set it up in bat with loop and disable windows error reporting.

I'm already doing this. Are you staking your zill?

EDIT: you see no zil miner in this because I was testing stability on new mobo/rig.

With 3-5 cards I get stable at 380kh, but 6+ cards I need to relax the settings to 370kh.

EDIT2: how can we setup the miner for solo mining? It is easy now, I find many blocks on MPH. Need VTC core, and then what?

I think it is okay to solo mine with 2MH+, if you will leave the rig on 24/7/365.

But how to do it locally? I know about the hashalot option, but we should be able to do it on our own machine with VTC node, and 0% fee?

spminer doesn't support solomining. Stratum only. But you can set up your own pool.

YOU MUST NOT HAVE READ MY POSTS--

I can not run spminer in my LINUX rigs.  I am not going to change my system when several high-quality miners can be flipped into place and run with a single command line.

I understand how to calculate profits.  Other miners available run on my system even though it is old.  I want a reliable VTC miner that just works without extraneous, malformed library calls.       --scryptr

Can you check the driver version? should be displayed when you run:

99.8% accepted in 48hours of mining with the vertcoin spminer. Thats how you get the last most profitable percents.

TEST RESULTS--

I ran spminer with the flag "-h".  This is what I got:

"./spminer_cuda10.1: error while loading shared libraries: libcudart.so.10.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" .

Thanks for looking into things.  I have tried to update the driver in the past and failed.  I may try again, but I don't want to hose up a working system with a failed install.

t-rex won't work with that driver version either. Needs 46x.xx+.

What other flag options are there for this miner?

--skip-submit-stale if you have high ping, get alot of rejected shares or mine on p2pool.

This gives and unknown option error in spminer 4 with cuda 10? I also tried --skip-submit-stales like in the readme?

EDIT: it's --skip-stale-work

KEEP IN MIND THAT ETH MINING STILL PAYS BEST--

The new GPUs with more than 4GB VRAM will mine ETH.  Miners with older, smaller cards need software that runs on older systems.  The algorithms that you want to incorporate in your miner are just fine for the smaller cards.

Ethereum Classic (ETC) had a spike last week that had it paying second only to ETH.  Not too long ago, before it forked, it paid better.  I just need software that is going to run on my Linux rigs.  VTC is my top earner for my smaller cards, but nVidia is left out.  Software designed for the latest and greatest isn't running on smaller GPUs that fit the algos (VTC, ETC, ZIL) that need less VRAM.
