I would say use whatever is most familiar to you... I give my friend my samsung who has iphone and he can not navigate too well (or slowly) but if he gives me is iphone I am same way slow to navigate through it...

I'll voice this opinion loudly and clearly, anyone who would opt for iPhone instead of a Samsung/Sony/etc device (high-end) is not really a smart person.
If you're buying a phone because of the way that it looks or because of the brand (only), then you're an idiot. 

Obviously I'd say Samsung here, but they could have worked harder and better on the S5 before releasing it.

Never buy anything from Apple. Period. Their devices are overpriced. They think that all people are morons. Their followers are worse than any religious cult. Just buy anything but Apple, you will be better that way. Unless you want to show your iPhone to your hipster friends.

I am willing to bet that those that are so hard up on one side of the argument have never used/owned the other.


This is not the Windows vs Apple argument.

Both Android and IOS have their place in the world. Both have their pros and their cons and both are necessary.

I own both use both and love both.

I am an absolute lover of both Apple and Google products and am in a very fortunate position to own both companies product.


The bottomline is this:  WE NEED BOTH COMPANIES! Without this competition there is no progress.

Furthermore --- and in relation to this forum: Neither company is doing anything about the progression of Bitcoin.
Now this a great argument to have!

So you compare the price of samsung and apple, and find them both equally overpriced, C'mon

Free to do whatever you want? I think you refer to jailbreaking, which Apple has filed many lawsuits against. In the USA you have no guarantee when you jailbreak your iphone, yeah free to do whatever you want.......
In holland the judge laughed in Apples face and ordered them to give guarantee, o well, USA is Corporations, so I guess you're free....

When you say we need them both, I couldn't disagree more Corporations like Apple are pervers and are hypercapitalistic, creating even more inequality in the world. Research who made the first touchscreen phone in 2002.....

I really like my iphone, but thinking about changing to the galaxy alpha.

I opened this thread hoping to get some solid pros and cons from diffrent users but I guess thats not going to happen. 

Does both phones allow for encryption and a strong password?
