As the title say I am interested in mining but I am new in this field. I have a simple laptop.

Can you please tell me which software is good and safe for mining?

I can go for mining bitcoin, dogecoin, or any other cryptocurrency that is easily exchangeable.

I run Norton as antivirus so I prefer to use a software that does not show up as a virus in Norton.

Please suggest some good software that I can use for mining and earn some money.

Please give your valuable advices.

Be careful what you download.  Make sure it's from a reputable website.  I'd buy a small ASIC from Zoomhash and use cgminer.  You won't make money mining, so you might as well buy the cheapest ASIC and lose the minimum.

Mining with a CPU/GPU is a non-starter for Bitcoin.  Mining on a laptop is a sure way to turn it into a paperweight.

You might want to spend some time doing a bit of research on these forums.  You'll quickly see that you're a few years late to the game of mining for profit with your computer.

It s pointless using your CPU or GPU for mining now. This was profitable about a year ago. Nowdays you have 2 options:

1) go with cloud mining, take a look at this review in my signature for more options

2)buy ASIC miner

I have tried to download and run BFGMiner in Windows (7 Home Pro) but Norton keeps quarantining the exe file that runs it all!

BFL's EasyMiner has never recognized any of my Block Eruptors, but I have gotten BFGMiner to see them via my Raspberry Pi (RPI).  In that vein, some of the Antminer Block Eruptors are working well and some either won't mine or send BFGMiner into a tizzy.

My next step was to purchase ASICs on EBay.  To date I have a BFL 50 which runs like a champ, a BFL 5 that also runs like a champ, a BFL 25 and a BFL 5 that are either broken or don't have the correct power supplies.  The BFL 5 did come with the wrong power brick (the seller put the wrong one in the box) but I have ordered a new power brick for about $8.  I also have a BFL 30 that is enroute, traversing the huge US Military Postal System (has been in the system for 22 days now).  If you look, you can get good bargains on these ASICs.  My personal rule is to never pay more than $1 per GH/s. 

I have also purchased 2 Antminer S1s (180-200 GH/s each) as well as the power supplies for each.  I have not received either of them yet, but the latest one I bought has been configured for my chosen pool (Slush's Pool) by the very generous seller, and it is currently hashing away for me until he boxes it up to send in the coming days. 

The huge upside for me right now is that I am in Korea, which means I am forced to live in a barracks.  That means free electricity to run my miners.  I should have this luxury for another 6 months.  After that I don't know what the profitability outlook will be when I get home.  I'll likely turn off the BFL 5s and just keep the bigger/more powerful ASICs going.

But I am also hedging my bets and as of a week ago am the owner of two GAW Hashlets in the GAW ZenCloud.  I have a 10 GH/s SHA-256 Hashlet and a 1 MH/s Scrypt Hashlet.  The maintenance fees are $0.09 per day.  I've been seeing pretty good returns on each of them, but nothing close to my ASICs that I am running. 

I've only been at this since the end of September, but I have learned a lot quickly.  This mining is a roller-coaster ride of money and anxiety.  I am not in this to get rich, but eventually I would like to make 1 or 2 BTC per month and I'd be ecstatic about that.

You should try faucets first before you decide to.

Currently mining is not enough.

You will use below to try some, If doing correctly, one week for at least 100,000 satobits.
