Whats going on I assume you mean v0.8.9.0-beta which is the latest and greatest version of this wallet, as far as I know, and is available on page one of this this thread. I do get a message there that says: "Warning: Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes may need to upgrade.". I'm guessing some folks missed the Mandatory upgrade to v0.8.9.0-beta

Thanks. Sorry, it was may fault. I missed the Mandatory upgrade to v0.8.9.0-beta. I had only v0.8.9.0.
@Yeswecann Is a compiled Version of the new wallet in future possible too? When will the Version 0.8.9.0-beta be outdated?

I see that you have updated the new Wallet and some have complimented that it runs very well and is faster than the previous version. You should update your version of the app and check for vulnerabilities to fix the vulnerabilities and fix them so that users can comfortably use Wallet. Have you developed a Wallet developer yet? How secure is a wallet? Have your wallet ever been hacked?

Installed it on Win7 64-bit machine with bootstrap file provided at GitHub. Wallet checks roughly 20k blocks and then stops, restart is required to make it move on. So I gave up, again.

another random question about the droid wallet. I know private keys can be backed up and restored to droid wallet in case of emergency. My question is, is there any way to use the backed up wallet file and import into a pc wallet? (using notepad++ I'm able to see the string contained inside the file) I have attempted using the entire string which complains about 'int recieved, require bool' and ive tried portions of the string which give the error 'invalid priv key'.
Would be correct in assuming that as this is a mobile wallet ,not a full node, that the priv keys generated within the app are in a different (non compatible) format?
All in all, I will simply be waiting on the new app release, I'm just bored and feeling adventurous lol
I don't see where this was ever answered.

I don't see where this was ever answered. From https://github.com/schildbach/bitcoin-wallet/tree/master/wallet The backup file is encrypted using your chosen password. You can use OpenSSL to decrypt:
openssl enc -d -aes-256-cbc -a -in <filename> You can use openssl to extract the private keys from the Schildbach Android wallet as shown in the link below. https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/17176/how-to-decode-private-key-from-android-bitcoin-walletI hope this helps everyone

420, blaze it, etc. I'm a big supporter of CannabisCoin, the guys seem to know what they are doing. BTW, you plan on conquering the international market? Some countries consider these meds illegal
