Hey, I haven't been able to connect to swepool for the last 3 days.
I went to the "how-to" on the website, and nothing's changed.
Anyone else have this problem?
We all have this problem. SWE went from PPS to proportional. Currently its doing round shares and were waiting for the round to end. It's been over 40 hours for the current block and my btc balance decreased ever since. Waiting for Dinox to get back to us here. He should setup some type of notification area on the site and use it.

swepool's been up for me for about 9-10h now. Before that, yeah, there was a really long downtime. (connection parameters haven't changed for me)

Could you add "my current round shares", "pool round shares", "payout" and "Duration" to the json api?

The 50 hour round is finally over and the balance was availble to checkout.
So what is the main difference btw prop/pps?

So what is the main difference btw prop/pps?
Proportional: Finding a block has a more random probability and thus timing between generated reward fluctuates, as does payout per day. PPS - same rate every day, no outperformance, no underperformance. Wish dinox would clean up the whole front page, news page, first post to be up to date of what is what NOW, especially with the block find bonus going in and out within 2 days. Most of all, I'd like to see a sign of life at all, plus some kind of assurance that the pooled mining is even still working/ongoing/functional etc, including payouts and so forth.

Allright, I'm back with you guys, but if this new payment method doesn't give me returns like before, I'll head to any pool with higher returns.
I understand how PPS isn't always sustainable, and I don't blame you for switching.

Between purely proportional pools, there is no better or worse "returns", just more or less fee deducted. You can end up with 3 crappy days here, try 1 day elsewhere on a lucky day, think you are better off, then have 5 days of terrible performance there while swepool has 3 lucky days in a row.. The whole pools are all always just trying to guess a new block...none of them really has an advantage within proportional, so you can't compare payouts at all. Just fees, uptime and service.

Just a question.
Is the "worker wage" calculator still a daily rate? Because mine is less than a tenth of what it was. (yes the mhash/s is accurate)

No, it is "per round" now.

Still, dinox needs to modify the index page to reflect that the PPS model isn't supported anymore. Also, I'm wondering whether there still is a block find bonus, or whether that vanished with PPS?

Good=more than 2 blocks a day Good=less shares per block If "Hide my username" is disabled, your username will appear next to the block in the stats page if you were the one to find it

6 PM UTC: Payouts not working. When any of us clicks on "Instant Payout", we get blank page at http://www.swepool.net/cashoutStill, all of us are grateful to Dinox for this pool. When will payouts be restored? Thx.

When will payouts be restored? Thx. There is a problem with cashout script not being able writing to txlog, I'm working on this right now. EDIT: fixed, reason was wrong rights on cashoutscript. I have just made a change to this and forgot to change that. Sorry for the inconvenience.
