Those Icarus are batch 3, tested for several weeks by me. mostly test with cgminer rig development, use OpenWrt router as host.

I will take orders from tomorrow, Wednesday, May 23  5:00AM UTC+8 (don't send email before this time) ---- until all 40 are sold.

Price: 480USD + shipping cost.

Package content:   Icarus, usb cable, power adapter or power wire

All package will send by EMS (http://ems.com.cn/english.html)

This time we only accept BTC. after I receive order email I will send a new btc address to you. then after i receice the btc, I will ship your package immediately.

Orders take by email xiangfu.z@gmail.com, please add [ICARUS] to the subject. there is no confirm email. I will send you one email after I get the EMS track NO.(means packages already sent out, shipping from Beijing/China with EMS). please write those information in email:

1. How many Icarus you want.
2. You want power adapter or power wire. I advise you using your own ATX power if you order more then 2 Icarus.

       address:
       city:
       province:

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

How do you know who send what payment?
If someone watches http://blockexplorer.com/address/17haZtGFSMktDJjdm7K1WtcUcnsLYCbBLL or directly the network for a payment to that address he/she can send an email about it.
You can better make a new address for each payment.

Could you include BOTH power adapter and power cable?
I don't know what the power cable look like. Do you have a picture?
Do you know where I can buy power adapter or power cable if you can't include both?

The power wire:

The power adapter:

No, I cannot include both power adapter and power cable. I think it's easy to buy those kind of things, any power adapter that is
12v 2A is ok for Icarus. as I said if you buy more Icarus. I would advise use an ATX(PSU) power.

I only know where buy those kind of things in China: taobao.com, may be ebay also have them. more info:

Actually this does not answer my question. The BOM linked from this wiki is incomplete. I am sure the type of buck regulator was discussed in some threads but I cannot find the information...

No. the wiki page only linux commands because I only do the Linux stuff.

There are windows cgminer:
  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.0

And a python application MPBM:
  https://github.com/TheSeven/Modular-Python-Bitcoin-Miner

Those 2 application works fine under both Linux and Windows.

Icarus using : TPS40193, there are some of them using: TPS40192. Maximum power supply capacity is greater than 12A. (by ngzhang)

Just curious, for those that are buying them- what's the expected break even period for this device?

With things like the block reward half coming and the BFL ASIC solution, nobody really knows.

You could say it is x months and it can turn out to be 10x months for example due to above unknown factors.

Mining is very risky all of a sudden Cry

Same applies to any solution right now, including GPUs etc.

currently it's ~388 days. Using the following variables for the input of math.

cost =                           $480
speed =                        ~380MH for now: source; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=51371.0
Current difficulty =          ~1,591,075
BTC per day (100% pool)  ~0.24
BTC Price =                   ~$5.15
USD per day     =            @$1.236

=initial cost / gross per day
=480/1.236  =  388.35

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.
