rolf ! Usually, shitcoin ponzis rely us "windows bitches" for miner and investor support, and you're telling us to go fuck ourselves. LMAO

Have fun chewing on that wood, dumbasses.

Thanks again for posting your findings, SalimNagamato. Smiley

It's not like Windows people can't mine this coin. In fact this coin can be mined on the most basic of computers that can't be used for mining most coins these days. I have an old computer I didn't use that couldn't mine any coins I've come across so far, and set it up to mine woodcoin, and it does it with no problems.

On an even playing field, you would have earned (4000 khash divided by 700 khash) 5.7142857142857142857142857142857 times as much. Shocked

but there is no reason to be mad...
the lower hashrate in windows was not intentional, and i found it (at least on MY computer) by accident when booted to Windows

I understood the point, but if I cared enough, I'd mine in Linux. There are at least a few things Linux is better for, but I'm still not using it daily.

My point was, this is one of the easier coins for a newbie to the world of crypto to mine, no muss, no fuss, etc. You were acting like Windows people just couldn't even mine the coin, and though right now it would be less effective, it still works. People can always look into doing things more efficiently if they want to.

Judging by the lack of miner/investor interest, its safe to say that is exactly what the newbie windohs bitches are doing. Wink

I wish for the new year that there will be peace.
and maybe the beautiful jet, will not need to carry missiles.

"It is well within our power to destroy our civilization, and perhaps our species as well. If we capitulate to superstition, or greed, or stupidty we can plunge our world into a darkness deeper than time between the collapse of classical civilization and the Italian Renaissance.
But, we are also capable of using our compassion and our intelligence, our technology and our wealth, to make an abundant and meaningful life for every inhabitant of this planet. To enhance enormously our understanding of the Universe, and to carry us to the stars."  Carl Sagan

What could be worse news for a coinsman than the value of coins falling and a major exchange going down?

Welll, there is whatever happened here that lead to images of military theatre and names of national corporations entering the woodcoin thread.  I guess this is a wakeup call to us: the struggle is not over yet.  Lets channel our frustration to appropriate places and continue to help people with adoption of public currencies and understanding of arboreal ecology.  We are a consensus of individuals from all corners of the globe and all backgrounds.  There is plenty for us to disagree about, and indeed we must discuss our differences as well.  Our differences will make us stronger if we don't let them divide us.

Greetings Woodcutters.  I have few general comments, I'd like to hear your opinion on.

1) I've been alerted that somebody bought 500K logs on c-cex the other day.  Does anybody have any insight on that move?

2) For anyone following altcoins, the issue of the 1 megabyte limit on BTC blocks is of vital importance in the short term.  Already we are seeing lots of blocks in the high 900 kb range.  This can only mean an increase in TX fees for BTC which will force traffic into altcoin networks.  In my opinion, this will happen eventually but the question is the timing.  We're not there yet, even with the 1M limit, but it is becoming more clear that we will get there soon.

3)  I have also been alerted to a number of google translated versions of the woodcoin OP from people trying to get a bounty.  Unfortunately my mother tongue is Dwarvish and I am not that skilled to identify whether a translation is worthy of a bounty or not.  Any advice on that would be appreciated as well.

Thanks very much for all private messages and for all of your continued chopping!
