We have disabled LOG markets until situation gets clear.

OP sent us a message to disable it, so we did.
Thanks for letting us know.

EmpoEX Team

Thanks for your quick response EmpoEX team!

With the new release I believe it is better to be cautious than to wind up with orphaned TXs especially on an exchange.  I am confident the new release will propagate relatively quickly and peoples issues with Woodcoin will stabilize shortly.

Keep up the good work there and I am looking forward to see us earn our spot on your exchange again soon.

Code:
2014-10-25 16:05:05 ERROR: mempool transaction missing input
2014-10-25 16:05:05 CreateNewBlock(): total size 23755
2014-10-25 16:05:05 Running WoodcoinMiner with 8 transactions in block (22943 bytes)

my tx does not get confirmed, I created it with the older wallet, now running git-57d5da74.
I then restarted with -reindex

Code:
2014-10-25 16:14:19 CreateNewBlock(): total size 3389
2014-10-25 16:14:19 Running WoodcoinMiner with 3 transactions in block (2577 bytes)

and my tx shows up as Unconfirmed (-1 of 6 confirmations)

Thank you for your feedback.  I am seeing no backlong of pooled TX now, so if your TX didn't go through the reindex should work.
If all else fails you can delete your copy of the block chain and restart the client to confirm your balance.

TX's the only thing affected by the old client? Solo mining still OK? Updating now, but just wondering--nice to see Willow Rosenberg take interest, only means this coin will make us all rich.

I found a block solomining, but it was not accepted, maybe because of that tx generated earlier by older wallet.

I mined 6 blocks today, now they are all unconfirmed (along with all my other transactions).

What's happening to my coins?

2) First Logarithmic release coin.

Most coins follow a hard reward reduction curve: a geometric series.  Instead we use a harmonic series as it is gentler to the ear.  The result is a logarithmically increasing supply of logs.

supply = 1000000* ( log(nHeight) + gamma )   -  forest

   where gamma = euler-mascheroni constant
              forest  =  5187377.51763962

in 2130 we will have about 14 million logs and the reward will be about 7.3 milliLOG.
in the year 730,000 we will have about 23 million logs and the reward will be about 130 satoshiLOG.
The hard limit will come in the year 95 million as the reward dips under 1 satoshiLOG.
Money supply limit: 27625814.3 LOG

Please explain what this means. So the total supply will be 1m? Or 5m?  Huh

Something strange is going on.  If I didn't have such high regards for the altcoin community I would think somebody had built a GPU chopper and was executing a stealth 51% attack.  If anybody is able to hold onto a block before it is immediately orphaned please do post here your success.  In the meantime we are going to try to force old clients off the network with a hard fork to see if that is part of the problem.

We sent you a PM earlier. Could you please get in touch with us at IRC Freenode #EmpoEX?

Thank you.

Total supply will be 27.6 million but it will take basically forever to get there.

Geometric series (like most coins)  goes sometihng like:   1 +  1/2  +  1/4  +  1/8  +  1/16  +  1/32   ......          which converges to 2

Harmonic series  (Woodcoin)   goes sometihng like   1   +  1/2   +  1/3   +   1/4  +   1/5  +  1/6  ...       which diverges.
