I learnt to type 55 WPM on this bitch, till I got in the second year of typing on an IBM balled-typewrite  and upped it to ~80 WPM. Now, I'm at ~60 WPM.

I had like 15 WPM, now I'm around 25, I'm just learning the technique here. http://www.typingweb.com/tutor/courses/

What's mechanical or different about it compared to others? It just looks like a keyboard with LEDs to me. It's been a while since I used anything other than a laptop anyway.

I think of it like the "organic" label. I don't think mechanical keyboards are inherently better, but they usually have awesome features over their bland counterparts: no or minimal ghosting (can press more than a few keys at once), far less likely to stick, more durable, better tactile feedback (keys actually "click" when you trigger a signal), and weightier keys. Typing accuracy is generally improved by using mechanical keyboards.

For a second I thought those were chocolate. Now I'm disappointed. Sad

The lights can be turned off, each key has its own light.

My keyboard has Brown Cherrys good for typing and gaming.

The sound it's just amazing.

I think with this kind of keyboards I went full retarded.

Just love then

I concur. Mechanical keyboards are the best. I type at about 100WPM and there's nothing more satisfying than the sound of the keys going click-clack so fast. It makes me feel like I'm getting serious work done. Smiley

Thing with mechanical keyboards is they are super loud, it's like the 1990s again. If they could make a quiet mechanical keyboard I would be interested, I prefer to not have everyone hear me clacking away when I type. Haha.
