This is exactly what crypto needs a reputable member of the forum to establish trust into a project with great potential. Good news for future investors, glad you taking command /sust1200 how can you do that when it's closed

I agree, this must be huge. And I hope it will, it just a question of time, proper people (some of them are already on-board),corresponding development and other supportive work.

2 lessons learned: 1. Never trust a dev that is unresponsive and doesn't build a team to help them succeed, however good the idea is - typically they have a world-class idea but can't communicate with anyone and are totally unrealistic about what a real project needs as it grows beyond their own computer screen and the software UX is always crud because they think it's good enough. 2. Never buy Opal / Supernet after bassguitarman's actions trolling here consistently since day 1, if you scroll back through the thread he is there at every opportunity trying to talk down the coin, what does this tell you about Opal / Supernet?

Nah, some people will never learn any lessons. The writing here was all over the walls. This guy not only was anon -which is the first no-no-, but also has, literally, the ability to communicate at the human level that a donkey will surpass by miles. Plus no vision whatsoever. Your typical scammer, actually (remember coinville or viorville or whatever the fuck he called it?). But you guys swallowed because you wanted to make callas scrambled... wow. Anyway, the project was dead for quite a while already so this is sort of the official declaration of it. He got his few BTC and is more than happy to continue living like the turd, jerkoff reject he is, in the basement of his parents".
Unfortunately, no lessons learned anywhere. You WILL indeed back quite a few more of these... One more to add to the list. He's already back with another scam(s) under different handles of course, but his "social ability" will be evident soon enough.

I guess we all learned from mistakes here and we (community) restart project to achieve goals and expectations and make i huge. I hope Viorcoin - the dev - even if he left the boat is reasonable and will cooperate with community as much as he can. I don't know his reasons - if they are personal, financial, study, whatever but he started something. I blame him for bad communication during last months and for almost none knowledge share. But I still think he will fix (hand over) as much as he can so Viorcoin can continue. Current model and ViorCoin app has many flaws (mainly in terms of usage and compatibility) so I'm not that sad because completely different approach is needed anyway for much wider acceptance and usage. Viorcoin 1.0 is dead, I wish Viorcoin 2.0 will live and its fresh development have enough wind in its sails.

I joined this project because it was providing the first decentralized (outside of telco network) phone calls. So you can bypass a) centralized spy corps like Skype that handled the comms part b) centralized payments systems that handle the $ part. The dev did deliver this tech working. His weak point was not following through with everything else, and also there was an unhealthy dose of serious hate campaign from Opal overlord bassguitarman that the dev had to fight constantly. Project like this, if the dev *had* connected with other people as Bitcoin Carpenter was doing, then obviously this project could have been massive. Who knows, might still happen - but I would recommend reform the project with new name and just the international calling parts as that's useful to a lot of people (those who do a lot of international calls know what im talking about)

For the past few weeks, BC has been negotiating with the development team and this is still ongoing. The code is owned by the developer.
This project has been dragged into mud and dirt by the so called community. Threating dev family only pushed all the developers working on this project away.
Also bassguitarman pretend to be a licence officer and threaten to sue viorcoin if the project was not shut down.

Cheap excuses.. I have seen many devs who had to endure more bullshit than Chinedum and they are still on the project..
