I'm writing to report that my "May 2012" hard copy of Bitcoin Magazine arrived and looks pretty good!

I started a new thread because the other threads about the magazine have wandered far from the subject.

I am guessing the cartoon on page 34 is a "told ya so" for all the delays?  (It shows a skeleton sitting in a chair holding a bitcoin, saying "I pre-ordered as soon as I heard!") and a copy of the magazine sitting on the table in front of him.

I must say the quality is pretty good.  There was no excitement about waiting, but the magazine is NOT GARBAGE, and perhaps I can concede that was worth a couple months. In particular, the various cartoons and illustrations throughout the magazine are quite decent.

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable.  I never believe them.  If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins.  I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion.  Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice.  Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.

Awesome! Great to see the first report! I have not received my copy just yet.

That skeleton or what we call "the wall page" is quite special. But my lips are sealed. More details about that strange page in #2 or #3.

My credibility isn't on trial here.  Believe what you will.

The quality of the magazine is beautiful. Design, layout, paper type, print, it's all top-notch. I couldn't be happier with it.
