I'm surprised these didn't get a higher grade. But still pretty good.

Didn't realize a Deep Cameo grade could get paired with a MS 65 grade.  Would have thought it usually gets paired with a higher grade.

The grader should have placed the coin better so the L isn't tilted IMO.

It would drive the OCD in me crazy

Aren't the bull LTC coins too big to be slabbed? I some how thought so.

I have the original box which I will include. It contains the LTC wallet address. As a matter of fact I will take pics and post.

I have a few of these as well and they're really nice coins, but it's a little weird that the coin doesn't show the public address. The only way to really confirm the value is to remove the hologram.

My question about thee coins is how do you confirm the value before removing the hologram?

I like coinographic's coins, but he made a mistake by not having the LTC address visible on each and every coin.  There is no way for any of us to confirm that the coin you're selling us is still loaded.  Coinographic sells replacement holograms.  How hard would it be for someone to purchase a dozen coins, redeem half of them, put a new sticker on the back, slab it and sell it as if it's fully funded?  I'm not saying you would do this, but the fact is there's no way to guarantee the balance of any of these coins.

I was thinking the same thing.  I thought I was missing something.  I agree, they are great looking coins (probably some of the best available), but without having the key on the outside, it seems too easily manipulated.  The good thing is LTC's value probably makes this less of an issue presently, so it probably doesn't matter.

I agree that I would like the public address on the coin itself.

But as far as the holograms, I didnt think there were spare original holos available.  The extra holos you can get say 'Buyer Funded', so you know if you see this, the coin has been changed.

Being someone to sell coins, I can only imagine how difficult it is to make sure that the coins assembled are in fact THE coin that matches the address on the box.

There is a possibility to confuse this given you can't really (even in the process of order assembly for shipping) quickly verify the coin address that is being sent to a particular buyer.

How can there be any assurance that the coins you were sent actually are the loaded coins with the correct private key (the ones that do not have the window)?

On all of my coins each side of the circle cut-outs has the first 8 characters of the address facing out and the private key facing in. When I print them I first make sure the sheet of private keys and addresses match up by doing a quick check on the ordering.

Even when making new keys with the software I use to generate the addresses and keys I check each time to make sure this is true and correct.

When I am trying to get coins ready for a customer I can quickly see the first 8 characters of the address so I can verify that those are the addresses to send to the customer whether they are prefunding the coins or not.

To have a separate paper/label/sticker to match up with a coin that is not directly attached to the coin is a tough organizational issue. This presents a problem to the customer if they get these coins slabbed. The organizational issue gets passed on to the customer.

Agree with all you guys are stating; you can only trust that I'm telling you what the LTC address is and that it is loaded; the only other way to confirm is to crack the coin out of the case and redeem the LTC (which is basically worthless at the moment). In any case, I've sold plenty of items here and hundreds, maybe even thousands of coins on eBay, so if you're interested you can at least take solace that I'm trustworthy.  I'm looking for .15 BTC each on these so they're not expensive or anything.

I agree that that coinographic should have made the window.

Nevertheless, the whole point of the security sticker is that it is tamper secure (I assume that coinographic's hologram are tamper secure?)
As a crypto coin collector you have to rely on that there are no "replacement" security stickers floating around, that would cripple the whole concept.
If you could break the security hologram and get a copy of the private key, and restore the hologram with a "replacement sticker", you don't even need to redeem the coins right away, you could sell them, and "empty" coins after they have passed on between a few new owners. Personally I always exam the hologram with a magnifier when I get a new coin to make sure that there is no signs of breach, I also only buy 2nd market coins from people I trust.

When that is said, I can vouch personally for wafdawg, I do not believe he would ever deliberate sell a unloaded coin under the impression that the coins is loaded.
You can buy from wafdawg with confidence, no doubt.

As for coinographic, I have no experience with them, but I do note what smoothie has stated about his experience with privatekey management, which is worth taken into consideration.

Cryptography is one of the few things you can truly trust.
