Can anyone link me to more information about StealthRelay. Ive been searching through the OP but cant find any detailed information as to what StealthRelay actually does. Is it similar to a coinmixer?

stealthrelay is used with stealthtext app, that is an app to send stealthcoins anonymously, using a cell phone that no need to be connected on the internet.

The coins are sent by sms and disguised as an encrypted text message.

If this is intercepted by the NSA, the only thing that appears is that you are sending an encrypted message. The coins don't appear.

To all goes well, stealthrelay must be installed on the PC where you have the wallet.

After current roadmap is completed, this app will be developed for ios and also to non smartphones.
You will can buy a dumbphone for $10, make a payment with it and then throw it in the trash.

This app was audicted and aproved by Dan Metcalf

EDIT: I don't know exactly what is a coinmixer, but I think that is something like stealth addresses that XST has in wallet.

Hello,

Your stealthtext Android app encrypts your transaction and sends it as a text message to a number you specify. This number must be a Google Voice number, that simply transforms your text message to an E-mail. Other providers can be implemented as well, as we all saw on the Iranian guy's video (Google Voice is not available in Iran). Then you have to setup some sort of listener on your mailbox, when a text message arrives the transaction is made. This is done by a Thunderbird plugin and StealthRelay. You have to configure Thunderbird to fire up StealthRelay when a message with a specific filter arrives. StealthRelay can decrypt the transaction with the info you provide in it's config. Then StealthRelay communicates with your wallet using RPC to do the transaction intended.

This pipeline is not so hard to setup. A tutorial was made available when stealthtext was released.

★ IMPORTANT! ★

1. We should all be running Stealth Coin Qt v1.3.0.0.
2. Don't leave your XST sitting on exchanges.
3. ENCRYPT your Wallet with a strong password (Settings>Encrypt Wallet).
4. BACKUP your wallet.dat file and store in a secure place e.g. USB stick (File>Backup Wallet).
5. STAKE at least some of your coins to secure the network (Settings>Unlock Wallet)

I think it was that pecker-head, flapman1, that copy/pasted the same asinine fear-mongering comment in a dozen or so threads that dropped the price a bit. I don't see why people fall for this sort of  garbage.
