If they did not make any money, why did they not just change the business plan?

When I was still playing there, I told him to start a referral campaign, so that it would grow bigger... he always said, "it's coming" .. now it's gone.

He could also have placed some ad's on the site to cover his hosting costs.

Someone possibly got a way to cheat and emptied his bankroll? Things like that happen, and then the site close like that without notice.   {Even then, he could still get investors to fund it and close the holes}

I actually wanted to help him with a signature campaign, he said he would start one but he paid only like 1 user for 1 week and then stopped.

And I agree with you either there was a hacker, cheater, or someone really lucky who just empied the sites bankroll. Either way I say the failure was due to lack of advertisement.

Now even if he comes back, there will be absolutely no trust.

It seems like a third the operators are skilled and dishonest (d.n, bd, kenobi) , a third are incompetent and honest (prc style), and the other third are incompetent and dishonest (ponzi game style).

Well there are still some skilled and nice people out there like Stunna, dooglus and you yourself (I like MP a lot).

i doubt there is "some reason" about this, he is closing the sites and taking the players fund, if he is legit, he could already be posting that perhaps the site got several issue, the silence of kenobi himself is already an evidence that he is actually doing something wrong for the moment

Yes its normal for webhosts to fail and normal for bitcoin sites to get hacked. But what kenobi did wrong was not inform everybody and we have no idea what happened to him.

Lesson learned never hold any balanced on sites like these, always withdraw as soon as you are happy with your winnings. Yeah it sucks. There are a couple people that still have faith.. but I highly doubt it. Was a fun game while it lasted tho.

If the OP hasn't logged in in a while to even say anything then I doubt he will come back. If the site goes down and the OP says something a day later like server maintenance then you can believe it but if the OP had any want to reintroduce the site its pretty much over now. I played with like 2k bits when it first came out, won some. Withdrew fine. Kenobi seemed like a solid guy, surprised he ran with funds.

What even worse is OP did actually log in back but say nothing about the problem. So he is still here, but he just doesn't care about the problem nor the players' complaints.
