The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Same old coinexchanger/chesscoin backend with a translation on top. Still no market charts or orderbook anywhere, just an opaque exchange rate. <-- It's there, my eyes fail. At least when I signed up this time, the balance was empty instead of being $300+ with no way to withdraw. Roll Eyes

Yay! I was able to deposit fake money and lose it by attempting to trade with it. Exciting!

Exito

Thanks.

I visited Venezuela in 2002 two people I met from there are now in TX, and OR.

the official rate was 1800 or so at the time I was getting upto 3000-3500 per dollar from a guy i who was at the same hotel, working on the same project as me, he said he wasn't getting a profit, just doing it as a favor.

I still have some contacts down there.  I'll let them know, not sure how into bitcoin they will be.

That was before they switched over to bolivares fuertes, now the exchange is 1 USD = 9.2 Bs
If you can still contact them and see if they have local bank accounts in Venezuela then they can definitely help us out. I am heading to Venezuela tomorrow morning to meet up with some interested parties. In the meantime, please keep testing and reporting. Any PHP programmer that wish to help the cause is welcome!

Actually, being poor is a state of mind. You have nobody but yourself to blame for your poverty and misfortune. If you change your mindset, you can get back on the money track as soon as possible.

In Venezuela, even if you change your mindset, the government enforces poverty. That is the difference.

Acabo de ver unos videos en youtube sobre el Sr. Brito y es un caso extremadamente triste. El Sr. Brito era muy inteligente y elocuente y profundo de pensamiento. Hablaba la verdad y con sabiduria.

I would like to buy BTC with BsF. How soon can this be done?

If you live in Caracas it can be done this week, in my opinion.

It depends on my contacts there. I would not do it directly. I will try to report
more on it in this thread if Maria does not object.
