5. take your time to investigate the hack
6. take more time for deeper investigation
7. give the first dark news, something goes wrong, but don't be afraid, you will get your money back, just send us your last balance/logs/protocols
8. release some inside information/details like no backups available, no db logs available, no security/firewalls available
9. after some time of silence give the last annoncoument. "we realy sorry, but we are not be able to return your money back"
    -> very important!!! don't forget to apologize!
10. leave the clients in the rain and enjoy your life

I do agree! Sometimes things can be learned from satire. Case in point, some people watch Jon Steward to find out whats happening in the world. If something strikes their fancy, they will dwell deeper into the subject with the hope of uncovering the real truth.
