You'll keep getting scammed if you try to buy BTC for paypal here unless you deal with someone trusted. Only problem is you're still new so I doubt any trusted member will sell to you for paypal.

You're better off finding a different way to buy BTC.

You have to prove your reliability by completeing successful transations; there are verified sellers that are listed somewhere in the Meta section, if I remember right

Did you confirm it with him that you were intending on selling it? Before it can be proven that it was a scam, you need to provide proper proof that such a transaction was agreed upon prior and then that he failed to pay...Huh

After a month of waiting, finally I got my money back Grin
Quote
We have concluded our investigation into your case and have decided in your
favor.

We were able to recover $175.00 USD and this amount has been credited to
you.  Please allow five business days for this adjustment to be posted.

If you are due any additional funds, we will make our best effort to
recover the balance from the seller.

I only not understand why he did it, whatis the benefit him?

He gets $175. You really shouldn't use PayPal to buy goods; people are less willing to sell them, because it's too easy to dispute a transaction.

If it's a fake account, he could've withdrawn the money within the span of the transaction. His account would have a negative balance, and PayPal wouldn't really do anything about it. You should really just use something like localbitcoins.com, since it's trusted. Buying through PayPal is something that's not covered by their terms of service, so anyone that sold to you would be VERY wary after the fact.

Its a rare thing to find a trustable seller who ll accept paypal as a payment method. Unless you are shopping over ebay.

I ve no idea about him but you can try to negotiate with him
