I know I can beat the NBA.  Only 4 days into it.  Vig has already taken up 10% of 20+ games, so vig is ~2.0.  I'm just getting incredibly unlucky so far in December.

Plus this stupid game CAV vs TOR.  CAV is barely even trying.  You'd think they'd try harder since it is against a tough opponent.  They're probably going to win it, but not cover.  It is 97-92 TOR right now.  

I've got about 1000000 units on Cavs right now -5.

I tried to evaluate all the predictions and yes my conclusion is the same - bad luck. But even bad luck has to end sooner or later. So more than enough time to kill that NBA

102-99 CAVS.  Need toronto miss and then cavs make free throws and it will cover or tie.

Gosh CAVS, why do you think you're all Hollywood not trying entire game and giving only 90-100% effort last 5 min?  If they gave 90% effort from the start, they'd be up 10-30 points right now.  TOR gave 100% effort from the get go.

Interesting thread Xiao. I'm a big NBA fan and this thread prompted me to sign up for this forum.

So it also a learning experience for me. NBA is the only league that I can't make a profit. On all the other sports and leagues I do very well. But NBA is a pain for me.

I've heard people say this about the NBA betting. You seem to have a lot of experience. What sports would you think are the most profitable/easiest to bet on?

May I know how much you lost in just 1 game? 

Yes, Cleveland not showing up until 4th quarter costed a lot of combo bets.  It is part of the game.  It was bad luck, sure.  All the evidence hinted towards the fact that Cleveland will win, that was obvious.  But you would think they would put TOR away early since it was against a East #1 team and a rival.  Lebron knew they were going to win, I knew they were going to win, even down 99-92 with 5 min left in 4th quarter, i said in this thread  CLE will probably win, but not cover.  They ended up winning by just 4, and should have been at least 5.  They had 2 opportunities to go to freethrow line up 4 but blew them both.

Its hard to say when will you get the positive streak. You might get postive winnings now, and experience the losing ones later.
However, his tips are more positive overall than negative. Its just not a great start during the tipping season.
