Blockchain.info is the most common so you can use it. That way you can ask other users about it.

Agreed! Armory is the most secure but for a newbie i would not recommend it took me a while to understand it lota options. Either use blockchain but if you wanna use the offline once use multibit, bitcoin core is good too but can't download the whole blockchain.

If you don't want to try to download many gigabyte of data, create an address in: www.blockchain.info and put some safe control to keep in safe your bitcoin !

If you want a mobile wallet (iOS / Android), I'd recommend Airbitz. I'm a little biased since I co-founded the company, but I really think we've put privacy, ease of use, and ease of security front and center. - Create an account in the app with just username & password. No email or phone number needed. No printing PDFs or writing down passphrases
- Login to account with any number of mobile devices using same username & password
- Account is fully encrypted client-side, using user's credentials, and backed up to peer-to-peer servers
- Wallet accesses decentralized Libbitcoin/Obelisk servers to send/recv transactions
- No unencrypted user info, keys, or even public addresses are stored on our servers.
- Tag your transactions with rich metadata (Payee, Category, Notes)
- Built in merchant directory for 16 countries with 3500+ listings
Hope you enjoy it.

then i found out about SPV, and i think both Multibit and Electrum uses that. can anyone tell me how much does each of these two take up space on me hard drive? and also which one do you suggest
I am using Electrum, and the whole data directory (consisting of my wallet file and the blockchain header file) on my pc is only 26MB large. I prefer Electrum over Multibit because it is deterministic.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip. Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

As others have mentioned, I'd recommend an online wallet for everyday purchases, but for long term storage, cold storage is the way to go. I'd recommended an encrypted paper wallet or a Verso card.

Bitcoin core is a great wallet. Its major pros IMO are the coin control function and that you don't need to trust any third party unlike using thin clients. The only downside is that you need to keep a copy of full blockchain data on your machine. For comparison of different wallets, you can take a look at https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet
