As an experiment I wonder if I set a 250-500 BTC donation cap to legally change my name to BITCOIN once the cap is reached if this would be achieved.
Maybe a smart contract to ensure I agree to no name changing after the fact etc. Shits and giggles but... would probably go viral lol... Mr Bitcoin Wins ... firts name Bitcoin surname Wins lol

I'd change my legal name to Satoshi Nakamoto for 200 BTC.

lol not at all, I enjoy trolling and joking but I would do that and enjoy it just seeing peoples faces when I introduce myself.. The only pain in the ass would be redoing passports and IDs drivers licenses etc.

Sorry op, but no one is going to pay you a ridiculous amount to change your name for this. Go change it first then prove it, then maybe some people will send you some donations but otherwise you're wasting your own and everyone elses time.

Wouldn't go out and fire 700$ per letter for my name and run through the gambit of changing my entire life documentation to then reach out and hope. Was just a thought and a giggle but I would actually do it for the right BTC... would sign anything to that effect.

"The man named Bitcoin"

I can see it now. You'd probably get confused with Satoshi Nakamoto and then you'll have media coming to your house offering to buy you lunch.
