LOL! I've been pool-mining for a while - let's say a bit more than a month - with a system capable of 700-1350 Mh/s, and up till now I've collected a fair amount of about 30btc. The funny thing is that I've found three blocks: two with Deepbit, and one with Slush... and I've sent a decent amount of shares to Deepbit (however, much less than 50%), but almost none to Slush! Moreover, I should say I've found at least three blocks (I'll pay more attention from now on). Well, three blocks would have been 150+btc. I mean: I do know I'm... "pretty fly for a white guy" - but this pace is too charming! I'm actually tempted by solo-mining, who knows...

if you had solomined you would have found no blocks for the rest of your life if you continue to mine pools you're going to find like a hundred blocks

I threw a ~300 mhash machine up yesterday on solo by accident and it hit a block in the 2 hours it was running. That's the only block I've found soloing in 2 years.

Come on, there's one main good reason to mine also at deepbit. And you know it.

Yep! Things go always like that: your good luck is blind... but your bad luck sees you perfectly.

Come on, there's one main good reason to mine also at deepbit. And you know it. Do tell? I know of exactly 2 good reasons - uptime and hoppability. For full-time PPS mining, BTC Guild is a reliable pool with a fee half that of deepbit's. P2pool is about as reliable as your internet connection, and ozcoin and EMC both have reasonable uptime and a fair payout method (Double Geometric).

For Bitcoin to be a true global currency the value of BTC needs always to rise. If BTC became the global currency & money supply = 100 Trillion then ⊅1.00 BTC = $4,761,904.76. P2Pool Server List | How To's and Guides Mega List | 1 EndfedSryGUZK9sPrdvxHntYzv2EBexGA
