Ok, so we got scammed. What to do now? Any ideas?

Without getting your hopes up, you and every victim should report a official complaint.

Why on earth UK police will deal with a Norwegian business ? They'll either send you to Norway or to an asylum.

Wow. That's a real shame. A never hit ROI on clouldminr. Oh well, live and learn. I bought those contracts over 6 months ago when I was a bitcoin newbie. It was a shame I never hit ROI. I figure developing my programming skills is the best way to go from, here, and create a killer application that relates to bitcoin in someway. I don't wan't to create my own Bitcoin ponzis of my own.

Signatures? How about learning a skill... I don't care either way. Everybody has to make a living somehow.

Why on earth do you believe they are in Norway? Because a scammer said so?

How about an update Cloudminr?

Hahahahaha! Here's one for you: "Let it go! Let it go!"

I can hardly see some letting it go after 2 days when they have invested large amounts, I personally am not down but I don't think simply letting it go should be the way forward it makes it too easy for people to get away with this sought of thing.

It's a joke from Hashie dude  Wink

i had a feeling this was coming.. come on guys, if you thought all the OMG1STSUNDAYOFJULY -type sales they were having the past few months was some kind of generosity, while plenty of other cloud mining services are currently not servicing due to low profitability, then you were actively deluding yourself
thankfully i managed to get most of my initial 2 btc investment back by never giving them another satoshi.. they shorted me about 0.3 coins

btw did anyone notice that their expected payout before the non-payout was exceptionally high? normally i would net around 0.13 a week from them, last saturday i had ~0.25 or so incoming.. this would have nearly returned my investment in full.. a savvier person could have exactly predicted this straight up

I agree. Best thing that the guys from cloudminr.io can do is to update their members. They still have a responsibility towards us, who invested in them, to update us on the progress made to fix the servers.

Where can one find a list of LEGIT cloud mining companies that will not run away with your investment?

I consider HashNest and GetHashing as solid as they come.

Zeus, GenesisMining, POW88, BIT-X and Stakeminers are probably ok.

Here's a good cloud mining risk assessment link you may want to hold onto:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=878387.0   Wink
Thank you kaprosuchus. I will look into your recommendations.

This is difficult as most schemes look legit at first. It is only later that their true colors are shown. But I agree that more research about a scheme should be done. And if you have doubts, do not invest and move on.

I think we must wait 2-3 weeks before tell that we are scammed. The probability to be scammed is big but yet there is hope. Otherwise why cloudminr has made "the declaration" two-three days ago? He/they can get the btc and go in silence.

Maybe you are right and no one is excluding the scamming. But how do you know that they are not hacked? Do you have facts?

Sometimes I really don't understand people like you. First, they get warned. They get warned again. Then they get a prediction of what will happen. Not only A prediction, but an exact prediction. Then all this happens. And still, you ask for proofs?

At least you basically advertise yourself as a victim for scammers.
