Price declining after a few hours... Yep, it was a bull trap  Shocked

I don't see price declining. It's going sideways for a while now but probably massive buying will return tomorrow.

Did you guys know that the price increase over past week has been attributed to this guy?

tbh I'd never heard of him before, apparently has a strong following in macroeconomic circles:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpm-G4Gkl_s#t=406

and a pdf he compiled to encourage investors:

http://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/images/user5/imageroot/2013/11/Bitcoin.pdf

It's multi-variate, BTC price index, but perhaps his followers (high net worth's) are getting on board

There's a pretty big sell wall at about $427-$430, but if we can get past that, I think it's smooth sailing to $440-$450.
it is $450 on okcoin , spiked to $457...Chinese lead the way again

All of this has happened before.

WTF? Bitfinex @ $460 - there's a $18-15 spread atm

$1200 in the next month? Sounds way too soon

Maybe I should buy more just incase?

Per BitcoinCharts: 11/1/13 - 11/30/13

11/1/13 - Weighted price: $200.40
11/12/13 - Weighted price: $350.49
11/30/13 - Weighted price: $1,132.29

It's happened before.

We also had half the market cap, less supply, China, Willy bot and block halving

Market cap is mostly proportional to price less the extra mined coins (so not terribly different), China seem quite healthy on the exchanges. Sure there's no block reward halving or willy bot (or is there? perhaps on another exchange?), but there are definitely more users and people on the sidelines than before. The giant green candles of the past  day are proof that this market is still capable of some crazy things.

Is this because of CounterParty? And because last time silkroad got busted we rallied a week later? Seems like two things going on at once.

BTC to the moon.
I'm speculating $500 by morning.

we might get another chill day where we stay around $430-450, but yeah $500 is happening at some point soon

I thought people who can't buy drugs at sr2 might exchange for cash to buy drugs locally but there's no way they could move the price this much by themselves

But then there is many other dark markets to buy drugs that people who need some will get it anyway

A lot of the rise seems to be happening on Chinese exchanges first so I doubt they were big silk-road users anyway

Interesting things are happening. We have reached $450, might we see a 3M or 6M high?

Not surprising, anyone with even half a brain would switch their alts to btc before the incoming ATH

I wouldnt get too excited just yet. Give it another month or 2 before you decide where price is headed.

If you like my post please feel free to give me some positive rep https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=18639

Pick the winner if you can before they are too expensive to acquire
Its not like it's close
The alts may die off,  I know which I'd rather be holding
